Such a great hotel and a great location. Withing walking distance of many attractions and bus stops, tour beginnings and street car beginning points. And a Walgreens close for all the incidentals you leave behind. Comfy bed, quiet place... I could go on about this place but I'll just say if or when I ever return I'm staying here.

Florida couple
great location for the sites
This hotel was in a great location. Two blocks from the wharf, lots of resturants, attractions, tours, shops, buses near by. The Hotel suggested a shuttle from and to the airport that worked out well. This was the only vacation we did not need to rent a car. Room was small but had all we needed, besides we spent all our time out on the town, just sleep in the room, free breakfast helped start the day.

GREAT LOCATION AND HOTEL
This hotel is in a great location to pier 39 and surrounding attractions. It also has a continental breakfast unlike the regular Holiday Inn across the street.

at the wharf
overall pretty good value, short walk to wharf and noth beach, chinatown. first room had window facing other windows. asked for change and got a view of alcatraz and some trolley noise, but not bad. free breakfast was ok, could get old quick. i would stay again

Close to all sites/cable cars - great fun
Very enjoyable, chose this one for location and full breakfast provided. Money saver. Staff was very polite and did a wonderful job. Stored luggage upon checkout as well. Thanks for everything.

mediocrity
The in room TV was a 20 inch tube. Really disappointed. Overnight parking $46 per night is a bit much. No airport shuttle and breakfast has powdered eggs. Need I say more?

the hotel is just an ordinary Holiday Inn Express with a great location. short walk to cable cars , trolley cars, public transportation and all the tourist "stuff" but.. the staff, from the front desk, to the parking attendant, to the breakfast crew, to the ladies making up our room, ..They all went beyond expectaions answering all my questions with smiles and also helped us solve some problems we encountered along the way.

Extended weekend vacation
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was great and there was a huge variety of food (pancakes, cinnamon rolls, cereal, eggs, bacon, toast, bagels, yogurt, milk, juice, coffee, etc.). There was also a computer and printer specifically for online check in and boarding pass printing. The only downsides were that there was not a refrigerator or wireless internet available in our room. Internet is available in room with an ethernet cord, otherwise free wireless internet was available in the hotel lobby. Overall this was a great hotel at a great price!

A variety of Crab Houses on the warf. Buy a 3-day cable car pass (or a 7 day) to save on fares, especially if you plan on making it to Chinatown, etc....or if you just wanna ride the cable for fun.
