This quaint, budget-friendly, bed-and-breakfast style hotel was built in 1926 and has been restored over the years. It's located between Dupont Circle and Woodley Park, near Adams Morgan. The hotel is perfect for travelers who want to be in the midst of the D.C. going out scene, with restaurants, shopping, and nightlife nearby. This hotel is very old and somewhat creepy. Overall it was good enough to just sleep and get up and go. I know I will not visit again. The price and quality of stay did not compare.

LOCATION: Location was great, we were close enough to all the major sites, but just off the path enough to not be stuck in traffic. However parking like most of DC was terrible. However there is a parking garage approximately (2) block away that offers overnight parking at a reasonable rate. STAFF: Staff was 50/50, when we checked in the guy was not very friendly and was very short with all conversation. But on the other hand the gentleman whom we checked out with was great, full of recommendations and treated us as though we were arriving as opposed to leaving. ROOM:Our room was clean and bright. The bathroom was also very clean. The bed and pillows weren't the most comfortable things I've ever slept on but we definitely worth the price tag. OVERALL: I would recommend the the Hotel, location is good, parking isn't too bad, it's clean and comfortable enough that I would go back.

Basic clean in a great location and good value
great place for budget conscious travelers - has the basics with helpful staff. But don't expect anything glamorous as room decor is quite dated.

Not a good experience!
Great location. Hotel was not what I expected. Room very small, bathroom vent was very dirty!!! It was quaint in idea.....just not in reality. Would not choose to stay again.

Windsor Park Hotel
One-half block from the forme chinese Embassy and just south of where Connecticut Ave. goes over Rock Creek Park. Reasonable walking distance to a variety of decent restaurants. Nice and quiet with an old-fashioned ambience. Wonderful closet space. Very nice continental breakfast. Excellent business center with very good internet service. The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable.

No Parking
You get what you pay for a room a to sleep in. There is no parking at the hotel and there is no place on the street to park since it is located in the Embassy District. Parking is at the Hilton 4 blocks away and it cost $35.00 per day to park there.

Horrible expirience
We did not like it at all,the rooms smell bad,we were moved twice and still the air conditioner did not work.All we found early in the morning was coffee only,the elevators too small and no answer at the front desk and the worst was that the hotel did not have its own parking and i was almost a half an hour and ten blocks away looking for parking,Overall a disaster in that old hotel.

Best budget option in this location.
Nothing fancy, definitely not modern, but the room was very spacious and the price was unbeatable this close to everything in DC.
