Amelia Island oceanfront beach hotel near Jacksonville with free Wi-Fi
The Amelia Hotel at the Beach is the closest hotel to the shore line on Amelia Island and life becomes a walk on the beach, with no planning, or even shoes, required. The hotel has a seasonal outdoor freshwater swimming pool and fitness center, but plenty of swimming and leg-toning await at the ocean across the street. BEACH VIBES
Great Getaway
Convient location to beach and downtown shops. Hotel room was nicely furnished and clean. Staff was quick to respond to request for additional pillows and towels. Since two wedding parties were also staying at the hotel, breakfast space was limited. Overall a great getaway.

A Independent Hotel with a great location
I just loved spending two nights in this hotel. We had room 212, which has a balcony. The view from the balcony was primarily of the local scene across the street at Sliders sea food place and bar, although we enjoyed seeing the ocean beyond and the fresh sea breezes coming through our room. This hotel is more like hotels were when I was growing up, each room is slightly different and the spaces are much larger for bathrooms and refrigerator/coffee/microwave station. This hotel was convenient, great beach access and the staff was very nice. I will be staying again!

The rooms were average, the breakfast way above average. The location near the beach is the best feature of this property!

Close to the beach.
The hotel is literally right across the street from the beach access and park, as well as a restaurant/bar. Several miles away from the downtown area. The hotel has decent rooms, friendly staff, and a small, basic pool. The air conditioner in the room was weak. Would stay here again.

Great hotel, great location!
I wasn't sure what to expect, but the hotel was great. Right across the street from the beach and not to far from the other Ameilia Island actvities.

We'll stay here anytime
Check-in was smooth. Room was upgraded and view was super. Location can't be beat along with the weather. I can spend every night in the tiki bar at Spinners. Will book here everytime we go to Amelia Island.

Staff nice. The room was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast. Walking distance to Slingers (great food and music) .
