BEST WESTERN PLUS Oceanside Inn

We went to Fort Lauderdale for a long weekend vacation and had a great experience with the Oceanside Inn. The room was spacious, and the secondary door opened right up onto the sundeck which had lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas. We used the fridge and microwave to heat up lunch and ate on the sundeck - which saved us a lot of money. The breakfast buffet selection changed a little bit every day, and always had enough to satisfy us for the day. We especially liked the individual waffle makers with apples, whipped cream and chocolate sauce to add on top! Location was great - though it was too hot to walk very far up the street to get to restaurants during the day. We took the car and parked it by Las Olas Blvd. to explore the shops by the beach during the day, but were able to walk to that area with restaurants/clubs after the sun set and it got a little cooler. The beach was just a quick walk around the corner. There were LOTS of picnic tables and benches available....on the weekend a lot of the shaded ones were occupied, but Monday and Tuesday the beach was a lot less busy. Beach was clean, water was clean and the whole place was gorgeous! All in all a great experience. Thank you Best Western!

Comiing down to see our house that is being built. Just needed to hang my hat. Always clean reasonable and great location to beach. Comfortable and accomodating.

This was my second stay. While the Oceanside Inn does not have all the bells and whistles of a resort, it couples a good location with some amenities.

We stayed at the Best Western Oceanside Inn for a getaway weekend and it was a great experience. The staff at check-out was very nice and offered us a room upgrade for free. Nice room that opened out to a Sun Deck which overlooked a nice heated pool and a couple of waterfalls. Very short walk to the beach. Literally lest than two minutes and you're touching the water. Pretty nice bar but the real treat was the hot breakfast buffet which was a pleasant surprise. Close to Las Olas - cab ride from the nightlife. Overall a great place to stay. Would stay there again. If I had to say one negative thing about it, I would say the TVs were way too old. No video input at all? Weird. But who cares? This place rocks.

needs new doors in bedrooms all are very loose . close to the beach and the no 40 bus takes you along the strip to the shops and bars and cafes .it is only $1.25 fare

The room was clean the bathroom appeared to have been remodeled. It was within walking distance to the beach and many resturants. I was not overly excited about the pool. The patio furniture was old and required replacement. The breakfast buffet was terrible except for the home made waffles. It is a great overnight hotel but not a location I would plan to spend an entire week at. I would stay here again, as their is definately a value given its location next to the beach.

This hotel has a very friendly staff. The front desk staff were very helpful and the bartender during the night was terrific! Very fun! Rooms are clean but the hotel is older. Great location near all the fun in Las Olas and A1A!

Very close to the beach and parking is only $5 per day. Price is good, location is good, but the room and service weren't that good. Air conditioning rarely got cool. I asked for a foam pillow and never got it. Had a late flight on the day of checkout and even though the hotel wasn't heavily occupied, the desk girl would only give 12:30 as the latest checkout on a Tuesday. Smoke alarm battery was low and alarm would screech on my last day. Told them, but no one came up. Morning hot breakfast was very nice.

I was looking for affordable place not too far from the beach and i ve got what I've been looking for. This hotel is one block from the beach. Has a bar, and serve some food. Air conditioner was kind of noisy and what was the BAAAAD part, the sheets was little wet becoase of the humidity. So I didnt really feel comfortable sleeping. They charge for parking.
