My review of Best Western Oceanside Inn
This place is not fancy but clean.can't go wrong for the money.Its close to the beach and walking distance to other atractions.The only thing we didn't like is the dinning options.Everything is kind of pricey around the Hotel.You need to take a bus(bus station is right in front)to other more cheaper places.However bus schedules are slow.But we were happy with this place.Would stay there again.

convenient
The Best Western was convenient to get to from the airport and it was convenient to get to the beach. The staff was friendly and our room was nice.

Great Location
The Best Western Oceanside was a very nice hotel with a staff that was friendly and helpful. The room was nice , clean, and perfect for my vacation. The location was great for the beach and plenty of places to eat really close. Local bus transportation that goes right by the hotel. This hotel gets top marks from me.

Great Price Great Place
Granted its not the newest hotel on the block, still it met my needs. The beach was right next door, the staff friendly, and the checkin process simple. The breakfast bar included in the stay easily saved me 20 or 30 bucks and included all of your standard items, as well as belgian waffles that you griddled up yourself.

Very good breakfast choice.
Very pleased, breakfast room kept super clean, exceptional friendly employees at the reception desk, breakfast room,maid service and bar room. Big plus, able to check personal e-mail without charge.

constant bus service to downtown area. Close by entertainment, miles of beach, surfing, picnics on the beach. Charter fishing boats, evening sunset cruises, etc.. All you need is time!!!!!!!!!!!

Great location and view for the price
The location was excellent for the price. There was a shared balcony on the 5th floor where we were and we had a partial ocean view from it. The beach was just a short walk down the street, but we found a quicker walk behind the hotel, although it was pretty dirty back there. The hotel is a little hike from most of the restaurants down on the beachfront, but nothing too obscene. The parking was $5 a day which I thought was unfair, but then realized the parking is a premium on the oceanfront...it ended up being a bargain. Only thing was since the restaurants and shops we wanted to visit was on the oceanfront, we had to walk or else we would have had to pay to park EVEN AT THE LOCAL RESTAURANTS. If we go back I would like to stay a little more north of this location, but was a treat being so close to the beach.

Great Value
The Best Western Oceanside Inn was a great value. Clean and comfortable room, nice selection on the included breakfast buffet. Excellent location--close to the beach without having to cross the road. Shopping and dining within walking distance. Bus and trolley stops nearby. Overall wonderful experience. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Perfect spot for a reasonable getaway
The room was clean and comfortable.Perhaps Minor negative was that the rugs had some stains.However satisfied with the daily cleaning of the room. I am early beach goer and very morning I leave for the beach around 7:30 AM and return by noon. Everyday the room was cleaned before I got back at noon. The free breakfast is very good had wide variety of choices from cold ceral,eggs,sausage and waffles. Front desk was very helpful in any anything I requested. Hotel is very close to the beach and public transportation. The public Transportation system is great by this hotel in that the sun trolley plus route buses run outside the door.Sun trolley is only .50 while you can ride the reqular bus for 2.50 all day. Why rent a car? Perhaps a minor negative is that the hallways are not air-conditioned.However the air condition in the rooms is adequate.

A local cabana bar is located across the street over looking the Harbor.Daily live entertainment and resonable drink prices.Good spot to mellow down after a day at the beach.

This hotel is on the ocean side of the streeet. Just walk out your hotel and and your about 200 yards from the best beach area in fort lauderdale.
