B Ocean Fort Lauderdale

I recently stayed at the B Ocean for a week in May. We arrived at the hotel early and we figured the room was not ready and we would have to kill time. We were right BUT they upgraded us and put us into a different room so we could get settled. The rooms are clean, house keeping does a fantastic job. This hotel is right on the water and far enough away from the busy spots so you don't feel crowded. Lots of places to eat/bars within walking distance. $10 cab ride to downtown. The pool area is small but we went to the beach so no issues. The bartender by the pool though is very friendly and makes great drinks. The breakfast in the hotel was pretty good and our waitor was friendly and awesome. Overall, great hotel, everyone was nice and I would def go back.

I felt like they were decieving regarding the extra $50 a day you stayed there when I paid them a good amount of money. I have called them many times and they never mentioned this at all. I think they should make people aware of this. For the cost of the hotel I felt they should have had more. I will not stay there again.

The hotels location was good. Not within walking distance to much, but close to water taxi, which helps when trying to get around. The room was nice, but not as clean as expected. At first glance the white walls, and furniture and modern and crisp. but if you are going to have everything white, then clean it regularly. finger prints on walls and furniture was a little gross. Bed skirt was dirty, and I mean dirty! Staff was friendly and helpful.

This place was great. I spent a very short time checking in, and was upgraded also. upon arriving to my room my jaw dropped, they gave me a corner room with windows on 2 sides, the view was spectacular. the room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, plenty of shopping, bars, and restaurants nearby. a good central location. the price was reasonable too.I would definitely stay again and would recommend to family and friends.

We loved this hotel!! The service was wonderful and we really enjoyed being so close to the beach!

Overall we recieved what was paid for, however when my wife and I checked into the room, it had twin beds. Our package stated that it was agreed upon a King bed. We had to call the staff to have it changed. To what our package stated. This was inconvenient. We were told of a stipulation concerning a third party. We insisted on speaking to the manager a he promptly directed my wife an I to a room with what was agreed upon. I'm led to believe that false marketing is used here to lure prospective clients to purchase packages.

Everything was awesome except a little thing. I left my umbrella at the B'istro and waiter gave it to reception desk but they couldn't find it in lost and found the day after.

The location of the hotel was PERFECT- few steps across from ocean- My room view was facing it from both windows-- The con is for the price we paid there was no microwave or fridge in the room so i couldnt bring anything back to it.

The hotel had beautiful views of the ocean. The pool area was the only draw back, it was small and guests would put their towels on the lounge chairs and would save spots. Guests would be wandering around looking for a place to sit ,and there would be chairs un-occupied. I think there should be so some sign posted ,to say if chair is unoccupied for a certain amt .of time,the chair will be opened up to others. Also the treats in the room for 5 dollars a pop,were over priced. More reasonable prices would sell more.

I thought I had an extremely great deal when i booked this vaction and stay at the B-ocean.. The hotel was great and very well kept but there were reasons it was so cheap.. They were in the middle of painting a good portion of the hotel while i was there and were in the hallways but honestly they didnt bother us very much and were really polite about moving and letting us pass anytime we encountered them.. The Bell hop service have really nice and polite attitude.. I was very pleased with them for the price of storing your car.. (high but not when compared to other beach parking) I would also have to say the room was much smaller than the picutres made me think at least... I would have been happier with one of the bigger rooms i had looked at for the amount of increase in price had i known the room size. But over all i would definatly recommend them to others.
