Ocean Sky Hotel and Resort

we found some stains on the bed, felt gross. The only reason we stayed is location. It is right at the beach, just perfect.

Great location in terms of being near a supermarket, take-out food, and right on the beach. There was construction on all of the balconies while we were there, so not only could nobody use their balcony, but there was also drilling from 9-5 daily. I had to call twice when drilling was still going on well after 5pm, but they were responsive to my calls and stopped shortly after. Only other complaint was that the bed was not comfortable, and the pillows were flat.

No knowledge of ADA. Requested handicapped room. No grab bars in bathroom; room; was furthest room down the hall from elevator..Did they think my walker was a luggage transporter? No more Ocean Sky, Ft Lauderdale for me.

Hotel was nice, however all the room balconies were closed and under construction during the day time hours. The constuction noise was annoying at the pool area, but nhot to bad on the beach.

Very unhappy withe hotel the reservation clerc, unfriendly.Room was not the one I paid for I had a tween bed and asked for the kingbed, construction was going on, food is not good at all, not professinaly run. I will never stay there ever again and will not recommed it to my friends.

All the balconies are still under costruction, so no rooms have out side access. Our room was ok, but the housekeeping staff did not have washcloths. For whatever reason they were out, every day. We maybe got 1 wash cloth a day for 2 people. The entire staff was great, especially the valet guys. I would stay again, when construction is complete. Still recommend updating the rooms a little better.

THIS HOTEL IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION!! Hated our stay at Ocean Sky. The hotel reminded us of The Shining....We stayed there for 4 nights. First, there is a $10 per day parking charge that is NO WHERE listed on Orbitz. The rooms don't look like the photos on here, at least our room wasn't; It was old, smelled, & very dated! The so called partial ocean view was a joke, we had to look through the far corner of a very dirty window to catch a glimpse. The balcony's are off limits to guests!!So after being very annoyed & very upset, my husband went to the front desk to complain. She offered to move us to another room. So we went to look at it & it was nice, just like the pictures on here. Went back to the front desk to say OK, she then tells us it is an additional $100 per night!! The walls are paper thin, heard neighbors all night long & people in the hall ways. Fire alarm went off @3am Sunday night...Restaurant was empty every night & seemed too stuffy, (not casual), Tiki bar was deserted every night, so we ended up at the Tiki bar next door So needless to say I hated every part of this hotel stay!! FIND ANOTHER HOTEL~~

"Open air balconies" in add can not be accessed they are crumbeling, doors and windows won't open. Ocean view is through a small locked window. Many cleaning staff yet floors weren't vacuumed and previous occupant's wash rag and soap were still in the shower. Waited 7 hours to have the overflowing toilet, broken shower and coffee pot repaired. Never showed had to request a new room. No concern no apology. There is a definite lack of supervision of the staff and customer service.

We love staying here b/c the pool is right off of the ocean so you can go back & forth between the pool & ocean all day long. Plus whenever you're just sitting & relaxing you have the beautiful view of the ocean. The concierge is very accomodating & the staff for the most part are very nice. Food/drink prices are a little high. Main complaint this time was the balconies were all closed for renovations.

Great location right on the beach. Nice lobby and the rooms had a great view of the ocean. Hotel staff was pleasant. Can't wait to go back
