Proton Buddy
Nice Amenities, but lacks personal attention
This hotel is very nice; clean with nice amenities. However, I was disappointed with the staff attention to the theft of some electronic equipment I had in my room desk area. The incident was reported to the night manager and the next morning to the day staff. There was not so much as a telephone call or communication of any form before or after I left. Needless to say I will never visit this hotel again!!

GREAT TIME.......NICE POLITE PEOPLE
VERY PLEASANT STAFF AND COMFORT OF HOME WITH THE MATTRESS. EXPERIENCED A DILEMMA PARKING, WHICH WAS NOT HOTEL ORIENTED. CENTRAL PARKING RESOLVED ISSUE. AVIS HAD NO GPS IN THE CAR, AND OFFERED A SIXTYFIVE DOLLAR RENTAL. I BOUGHT A NEW ONE FOR $138.00. THE CAR HAD ONSTAR, WHICH I AM NOT FAMILIAR WITH, AND DID NOT KNOW IT HAD IT UNTIL AN ADJUSTMENT OF THE REARVIEW MIRROR WAS BEING MADE THE NIGHT BEFORE WE WENT HOME. JUST AN ADDITIONAL EXPENSE NOT COUNTED ON. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS SPLENDID. WE VISITED RELATIVES FOR EASTER, AND WENT TO THE BEACH ON THREE OCCASIONS.

Acceptable
Hotel is in decent location. Room was in average condition except for bed which was very comfortable. Service was average. Parking ridiculously expensive. For the money I expected more and they need to work on parking expense.

Good Location in Downtown Jacksonville
Visited the Omni Jacksonville while attending a concert in Jacksonville. Hotel is located about 2.5 miles from the venue, so too far to walk, but a nice location for visiting downtown Jacksonville and the landing area. I was disappointed with my interaction with the staff. When inquiring about parking, the women at the front desk told me she knew nothing about self parking and encouraged me to valet my car. When I told her we wouldn't be using our car during our stay and preferred to park it ourselves, she told us she knew nothing about self parking. There was a garage guests were able to use, but the sign said guests on 8th floor and above. When we asked her about this, she said she couldn't speak with us. I felt as though this was her way of trying to force us to valet. The hotel was up to date and nice, however we were not able to use the amenities as they closed the pool at 10 p.m. However, the view from the rooftop pool area was beautiful.

adult weekend
The Omni was a great place, the staff was EXTREMELY courteous and knew our names immediately. The bar was fun, great food and variety of patrons made for an enjoyable evening. Valet parking was exceptional, not sure how the car could beat us down but it did, every time. Had a great time in jacksonville and St. Augustine, would visit again for sure !!

Labor Day Getaway
This is really a 4 star hotel..the only thing I would say is beware of valet parking is 20.00 per day, self parking is $12 every time you come and go, also internet is 9.95 per day per device. These charges was not explained to me in advance. The hotel is right across from The Landing so very convenient to the night life. Overall great experience.
