Radisson Hotel Jacksonville Butler Boulevard

They did not clean the room every day? But the bed was nice! Location was good.

My stay at this hotel would have been average and uneventful, but for two things. First, the Sleep Number bed in the room was atrocious, impossible to find a comfortable position despite repeated adjustments. Second, but more glaring, I requested a 7am wakeup call from the front desk and was told I would have one. My wife and I were in town for a doctor's appointment at 8:30 am. The call never occurred, we missed and had to reschedule our appointment and were 3-4 hours late getting out of town and back home. Lucky that the Dr. could see us again that same day, or it would have required an additional overnight stay. That was very disappointing.

Staff is awesome from the front desk to the bar/restaurant. Rooms are clean, sleep number beds are a bonus. This was my third extended stay here...won't stay anywhere else in south jax. Big pool for doing laps, and although it doesn't have designated lanes it's rarely crowded and kept very clean.

5 night stay. Really great room for the price. Service was great, staff remembered my name throughout my stay. Sleep Number bed in the room...very, very, comfy. 36" LCD TV, (about 40 channels), great soap. Towels needed fabric softener, but maybe some guests don't like that. Room was immaculate. Quiet central A/C with digital thermostat, not the clunky loud wall units that some places have. Debra at the front desk and Carol at the Butler Bar were standouts with their excellent guest service. Room looks just like the pics on the website, with a chase lounge, desk, fridge, and cordless phone. Will stay there again. Dave and Busters right across the street if you get bored. Location was great for me, near the interstate. There is some construction right now (Dec 2011), which makes the final half mile a bit challenging. Check-in at night was not terrific. Both desk staff were curt and a bit abrasive. The rooms were a pleasant surprise, good bed, microwave, and decent size TV. If you need a place near the highway, a good choice.

Friendly service and very nice and clean rooms. Also loved the fact that this is a non-smoking hotel which makes the rooms smell much better!

Near excellent shopping and entertainment. Good value for the money. Front desk people made a point of greeting guests by name. Restaurant food was okay, but not extraordinary. Room was quite nice. Clean and comfortable with sleep number beds, desk, pull-out table, I'll stay there again when in that area. Teenagers and young adults will like the Dave & Busters entertainment paradise that is only a walk away and their parents will like the retaurant in there, too. Quick access to major highways make this convenient to Jacksonville and even St. Augustine.

close to downtown....bar and restaraunt on site.....free shuttle to local areas.... overall a great price for a nice place

I arrived at this hotel at 2 a.m. I was the only person checking in. Despite my having paid for the room in advance, I was advised that they may not have a room for me and I might have to go to another hotel (where I previously decided I didn't want to stay). The woman said that my reservation was not guarantied. So, why did I have to pay in advance. After 20 minutes they found a room and checked me in. The room itself was satisfactory. When I tried to check out there was a long line and one overwhelmed service person. She was taking telephone calls and was really slow. I got in my car and called her to say I checked out.

We booked this room because of the value and location. It is right across the street from Dave and Buster's and right off of the interstate, close to shopping, attractions, and resturants. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and had a sleep number bed. Overall a comfy, clean, and nice place to stay.
