Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Orlando Maingate at Calypso Cay Resort, FL

The Country Inn Suites was in a great location to have a relaxing,and enjoyable mini vacation. The choice of pools was great - one with music, bar etc, one more peaceful, another good for swimming laps. The staff were very friendly, and willing to help whenever they were needed. All areas of the hotel were clean and organized. Towels were available for the pool. The hotel was accessible to Disney, and to many restaurants, and other important amenities that we needed.

We will stay there again very soon , As far as dining goes in the hotel I have no idea it was all Disney for us. The hotel has a great pool area for the kids,next time we come down it will be 1 day at disney 1 day at the hotel never want to do disney multible days again , It will always be 1 day on on day off and this hotel will really make it worth it.

I have to say that we were surprised and impressed by how nice this hotel was. We would stay here again without question. The rooms were very clean, the staff was beyond helpful and the pool, hot tub, and amenities were amazing. We WILL be returning for another visit to this great hotel and making sure all our friends and relatives from out of town stay here too!

I was looking for a place where the kids could have fun and I could rest. This place was Perfect for that! The kids loved the pool with the slides.I have a 3 month old so having a clean room is imperative ,so a couldnt ask for more.The room was very clean, comfortable and it had microwave and small fridge.

Went to Sea World which was very close to the hotel. The hotel was convenient to everything.

The hotel is nice, we had a 2Q bedroom. The room was spacious, the breakfast was good compared to what other hotels offer. The pool areas are GREAT. Pools are heated, nice tiki bar, good grilling area.....we will definitely use it again.

We enjoyed our stay. I was pretty worried after seeing all the bad reviews, but this place was awesome! The location is within 5 minutes of everything but it surpasses a lot of traffic. The pool was amazing, the staff was super nice and, overall, we don't have much to complain about. The only things I can think of are that the beds were pretty hard and the shower had very light water pressure, but those things can be fixed if not looked over. The buffet was great! We ate very well every morning. Check-in and out was a breeze and the ladies at guest relations were fantastic! We had a great stay and would definitely come back.

It was clean and the staff was curtious, I really loved the Pool and breakfast buffet was well equiped the location is close to the parks and therfore i can see us staying there in the future.

We had previously stayed at a resort hotel, whose location was incomparable for our purposes and the surrounds were beautiful. For about a quarter of the price, this inn offered a much larger room (the original room we had smelled of smoke, so they moved us to a King Suite), which offered us a real base for our vacation. The stff was great, and they provided free shuttles to major local sites and reasonably varied breakfast. The suite, itself, was nearly as well appointed as our resort, and also came with a refrigerator and microwave.

We chose The Country Inn & Suites for it's location, near the convention center we were attending and the Disney attractions.The pool, hot & cold breakfast buffet,the clean room supplied with microwave, refrigerator.coffee maker,iron and hair dryer were all we needed. The staff was very attentive and pleasent. We have traveled places that were more expensive and had less to offer. We would reccomend this facility to anyone traveleing to this area either with young children or like us , a mature couple. There is something for everyone right here.
