Holiday Inn MAIN GATE EAST

The experience was exactly what we expected, no more, no less. If you're looking for a clean, safe, nice pool, no frills, affordable place to stay, I highly recommend this hotel. It was close to everything we needed, including Disney, Universal and decent, predictable restaurants.

Only stayed one night(Xmas) on our way to S. Fla. Room clean, staff pleasant. Close to D'world and other attractions.

Very nice stay. We had a "cleanliness" issue upon arrival in our room, but the manager thoroughly apologized, compensated us for our problem and fixed the problem IMMEDIATELY. Throughout our stay the staff was helpful, extremely friendly, accommodating and thoughtful. The only staff issue we had was over at the Theme Park Ticketing Desk as the staff there seemed inefficient and one member when asked for directions to Legoland stated, "I don't know how to get there". (Front desk certainly did know and routed us appropriately). I don't know if they are affiliated with the hotel, but they are way understaffed (only one person when several are in line). That was our only problem. Beds are really comfy! The hotel could use a bit of updating, but they did recently do upgrades (ie. beds/bedding, flat screens) so for a family-type hotel for the money it was good. Old Town across the street is alot of fun and the area has alot of places to eat that are not expensive. We LOVED Chick-Fil-A down the street!! They have healthy choices, are not expensive, very clean and Tuesday nights are family nights with crafts. They also have a small children's play area. Everyone there is super-friendly and helpful!! McDonald's is right next door, CVS, Walgreens and Publix all down the street and you get a small fridge so you can buy your own water, milk, drinks, etc. Very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

I have stayed here many times before and this hotel is consistently good. This particular trip I was assigned a room on the first floor facing the back parking lot. This is something I do NOT reccommend. It was very busy (lots of young teenagers) with people hanging out in the lot and a certain sense of safety was missing, as my room also had a bit of a balcony/patio with a sliding glass door. On the plus side, and why I like to stay here usually is that I find the bed and pillows especially comfortable for a value hotel.

Convenient, clean and well run hotel that is close to all theme parks and several restaurants.

OUr stay at this hotel was awesome !!!! The room was clean & roomy. The bed was so comfortable....the kids enjoyed the bunk beds. Great set up for kids. The only complaint I have is that the hallways & elevators for some reason were hot. There didn't seem to be any A/C on in the halls. Other than that our trip was awesome & I would definitely stay here again and refer a friend. Lots of amenities at the hotel. Good places to eat within walking distance. Great Place !!!!

Is an excellent hotel, not to close not to far from downtown and theme parks, have everything around, even a park place in front of it. The attention was very good and the cleanliness of the room was excellent, is 15 min away of the parks and 25 min from downtown, but still find. Strongly recommended by me..
