Holiday Inn MAIN GATE EAST

This hotel has good staff, is in a great location and is very popular with large school groups. As a result it is noisy at night which can be an issue for families with small children. The room was clean however our sheets were not changed as often as I'd liked and the veranda needed a good clean and a touch of paint where it was peeling.

Quickly able to check in and out! Lots of lighted parking.

Hotel is great but not good for a disney vacation. The shuttle times to go the theme parks are not convenient and they charge $15 per person to go to either universal or seaworld. They are other hotels nearby that don't charge anything and have better shuttle times.

This was a lovely hotel. The decor seemed well maintained and the room itself was fresh. There are plenty of things to do near the hotel such as; dining and shopping. The only downside would be the size of the pool. The pool was packed from about 10am-10pm. Other than the pool I would say the stay at the Holiday inn was lovely.

The hotel was really great.. But you had one bus to magic kingdom and not the other disney places. If you missed them you were done for. Just was use to buses that came all the time and never had to worry about missing them. Like I said the bus thing was the only problem with our trip. Just wanted to enjoy the whole day at magic kingdom and couldnt with there bus schedule.

The room was large but the bathroom was very small. Some light switches did not work. The air conditioner was very loud and had an odd odor. The room was non smoking but smelled of smoke.

Good location and easy access to Disney sites. Plus, a very close proximity to many restaurants and gift shops. That made it very convenient. On the other hand, the service in the hotel could certainly be better. There were 3 cups in our room the first day which were not replaced after we used them. They only put on tiny body lotion and 2 bar soaps in the room. Even though I went to request some additional supplies at the desk on the first day, nothing changed the subsequent days. Also, I am not sure why they charged a resort fee of $5.65 daily even though it is clearly not a resort. It was not mentioned any where on their website and I was not informed about it when we checked in. since I prepaid for the stay, I was surprised to find the additional charge under my door on the morning of departure. I am not sure whether Yahoo is aware of this rip off.

Bathroom absolutely too small. Kitchen area empty of cups, plates, dinnerware (even plastic ones). No tea on the tray; coffee only. Bathtub very slippery. Man fell during shower. Barely avoided serious injury. Tub enclosure needs "no slip strips" on bottom. A/C noisy as a 747 every ten minutes or so. Kept us awake first night. Service desk said we could get a seniors discount if we purchased tickets at Epcot. This is not true. There are no senior discounts.

After 3 trips to Disneyworld, this is by far the best hotel experience that we have had. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were comfortable. Location was great. We will use this hotel as our base camp for future Florida vacations!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. the location was great. The $5 a day resort fee that u don't know about until u get there is not good at all. I would have not stayed there if my room was not already paid for. My room was not ready i tried to check in at 1pm then i came back at 3:30 still not ready i went to a disney pk. and came back at 10:00 at night my room was ready. What a shame i would have like to hav unpacked first....
