Oak Plantation Villas Resort

This stay was by far one of the best experiences I've had at a resort. The staff was A+. The room was A+. The commute to the theme parks and airport was A+. Value for the money A+. And the distance to the shopping area was A+++++. I did not want to leave. This overall was a great experience and I will definately go back.

The Oak Plantation hotel was a great value for the money. I was completely satisfied with everything. My only complaint was the shuttle service. It was a NIGHTMARE!!! The shuttle only came once in the morning and then dropped you off in the evening. Well, when you have little kids you want an opportunity to go back to your room and relax and nap. You don't want to have to be in the hot sun at the parks walking around all day. Also, we got picked up at 7:30, but didn't get to the parks until after 9:00 am. I missed my shuttle to Busch Gardens, that was scheduled for 9:15 from Sea World because of this. That was my only problem with this hotel.

We just loved our stay at Oak Plantation!! The staff was friendly and helpful at all times and really made you feel like a special guest! Our one bedroom condo was just perfect, so perfect that we just rented it for 13 nights and went to the gulf for 4 days and returned to our home away from home! The pools were warm and clean and open til 1am, and the grounds were beautiful. The mini store, planned kids activities, b-ques on the grounds, the teen video center and tiki bar til 1am were all a plus too! They offered 2 meals per week and we really enjoyed that! Less than 2 blocks away was Vine St with super Walmart, min golf, all major restaurants and oh yeah only 5 min from Disney!!! We could not have asked for a more beautiful, fun, restful, secure place to stay!! We are looking forward to coming back in Jan 09!!

I was pleased when I opened the Frontdoor, for the Money you can't ask for more. If they would replace the Carpet with tiles I would say it's an outstanding place for a small Family.

We really enjoyed the pool area and thought the landscaping was very well kept. The room we had was large and so we had plenty of room.

the oak plantation has a great staff, fantastic pool and jacuzzi area including a nice tiki bar. most days they have activities for kids and they even had kareoke one evening.the accomodations were clean with a small but adequate kitchen area. convenient location, close to everything yet a quiet secluded setting.

The 1 bedroom King suite gave plenty of room. There was a separate kithen and living room area. The rooms are clean, but are dated and showing some aging due to the high volume of guests. You will need a car. The shuttle to Disney left the hotel at 7:30 am and did not pick up until 9 pm. This is too long of a day if you have kids with you.

The Oak Plantation Villa Resort was not a hotel but a resort. I did not have one room, but a one room apartment.It was equiped with dishes, dishwaser,washer dryer, broom and vacum. The grounds were well maintained and had plenty to do if you had a extended stay with children.It had a general store on site, a bar, and a reteraunt for breakfast and some dinners at a cheep rate. It was about 10min. to theam parks and had major stores and restaurants right out side the gates.

The Oak Plantation Villa Resort is nice place in Kissimmee that is close to everything. The resort is condos that can be rented like hotel rooms. My unit was a one bedroom room with living area and kitchen. It was clean and looked out on the pool area. My rental was without housekeeping. Since I was alone, I had plenty of towels for my four day stay but I ran out of coffee after the first morning (they provided one package). Fortunately a couple of doors down in the same building was a small store that carried a little of everything. Note that housekeeping is an option for, I believe, $24.00 per day. The pool area included a Tiki bar, two pools, a kiddie pool, and a hot tub.

The hotel room was very nice except it looked a little worn. There is a internet cafe..no wifi. However overall the room was nice and the grounds were very beautiful.
