Everyone was very nice and helpful,had plenty to do there.The food at the little store inside there was Great it was cooked to order and the man who was running it was very nice and would fix it anyway you ordered.Over all we had A Great time and look forward to going again in the summer when we can stay longer we were there for the school weight lifting finals.

Love Star Island Resort!!
We only booked our room for one night for our SeaWorld day, however we are already planning a weekend get a way at Star Island soon! I didn't realize how much entertainment they had until I was there! Great place for the family or a romantic get away. The staff was friendly, the room was spotless and spacious! ! Plus, being a smoker, it was great to have a balcony with an ashtray and to boot...such a great view! It's only a 2 hour drive for us, so we will be back!!

For a quick and cheap meal, we ate at the restaurant by the entrance, think it was TGI Fridays.

Family vaca
Star Island is pretty average in comparison to the other florida resorts we have stayed at. Pool heated but cold. Hard to find a chair by the pool because of all the towels sitting and reserving the chairs.

Orlando Family Getaway
Beautiful resort, friendly staff, the pools were heated,so kids has a ball, great family resort.Next time will spend more time at resort verses going to the parks. Would stay again

Family getaway
Facilities are good, location easy access close to Parks, restaurant etc. BUT did not like to have hidden charges like they come up with $10.00 "Resort Charge" which was never mentioned at time of reservation or check in. But not until the end SURPRISE!!!!!!. I like companies who are straight forward, I do not like hidden charges.

Wonderful springbreak getaway
My stay at the hotel was awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed each night there. The room made me feel like I was home away from home but in a more relaxed environment. I would definitely stay here again!

Weekend Getaway
I live in Florida and wanted to get away for the weekend with my 2-year old daughter. It was a good price and nice stay with great activities and I did not have to go to an amusement park. My not so serious issues are that they need elevators (3rd floor rental) and the walls are thin that I could hear the people next door taking a shower. Overall, I loved it!

Family friendly, nice stay
Another good stay at Star Island! Kids were a little disappointed that the bounce house and play area close to the pool were not open due to construction of a new bar area at the pool. Part of the pool was also roped off, but there was plenty of room to swim. Overall service was good, but had trouble with our room key not working off and on. Rooms are clean and spacious, pools are nice, kids love craft time everyday, staff is very nice, enjoy the evening entertainment at the bar each night. We will be back next year, looking forward to the improvements they are making.
