Food is expensive, but you expect that at Disney. Boat ride to Epcot and Disney Studios was great.

Great location in Disney World
The Dolphin is an above average hotel. It' location is central to the overall Disney World complex. Epcot is walking distance and the pool is awesome. The buffeteria is a great place to grab a quick meal. Would recommend to others.

Had a good time!
We enjoyed the pool and the location was great. The room was a good size. Just BEWARE of resort fees. They are on EVERYTHING you buy. At check in ask for PANTRY PACKAGES. They gave us this at checkout after we complained about the prices and resort fees. It would have helped if we knew this at check in.

Will come again
Really enjoyed the Dolphin. Clean, convenient to parks, comfortable, good variety of restaurants on site, very nice visit. Cons: Very odd smell (floral?) that was unpleasant throughout lobby area. Not the first reviewer to notice this. Misleading room surcharge of $14 per day, it is charged to you anyway whether or not you use or want the provided water, coffee, internet, newspaper, etc., so you might as well use it because 2 coffees at the restaurant will be $7! It was confusing, explained at the desk as if it was optional. Restaurants were pricey, but normal for Disney. Overall, enjoyable and would return

Wonderful experience
Traveling as an older couple, we found this hotel to be perfect. Lots of business people, quieter than other Disney Resorts, but children still welcome. Beautiful setting, pool and "beach" area. Very close to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The room was immaculate with wonderful linens!

Relaxing Getaway
Gorgeous property with the Disney perk of water taxi's, shuttles and park extra hours. Although this was a very last minute trip for 2 adults and we were able to have a room with a resort view. Property grounds- beautiful; water and meticulous lush greenery everywhere. Pools- Plentiful and clean. The weather did not cooperate for us to use the pool, but the peacefulness of just sitting with a coffee and the paper (free weekday USA Today) was more than enough. Restaurants- with a very late evening arrival, we were pleased that there was a 24 hour 'grab and go'. The casual dining was tasty with quick service. Unfortunately we were too full to try the very decadent looking desserts. We did not have the opportunity to try the more elegant dining, but the menu's looked wonderful. The coffee bar in the lobby area in the morning was convenient- although it would be nice if the cinnamon was out with the sugar. Rooms- Basic clean; as with all hotels, the bathrooms show some signs of 'wear', but nothing to be upset about. Green option... as a Starwood member, I had no issues with either a $5 credit or extra points on my membership if I did not receive new towels everyday. There were more than enough towels in the room for our stay and then some. I would suggest more recycling containers in 'plain view'. The only ones I found were in the fitness center. Warning... place Do Not Disturb on door the night before check out or you will receive a knock on the door at 8:30 asking what time you are checking out...?! this was a first for me and the hotel advises it is their policy.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
This is a Walt Disney World partner hotel that is physically connected to Disney's Boardwalk Resort and a 5 minute water view walk to Epcot or 15 minute water view walk to Hollywood Studios (if you choose not to take the water taxi)

Very Nice Overall
Very nice overall. Good service. The only complaint is that the bathrooms could use a little updating. No fan for shower area - leave the room humid.

A lot of problems checking in to hotel
We arrived and one of our rooms wasn't ready, the next thing the toilet didn't work, and than to top that off, our refrigerator was broken as well. They did give us a credit however, not enough for the $ that was paid for this hotel. Wouldn't recommened in the future.

Not what I expected.
Upon checking in I received room #9062 east tower So I proceed to my room only to find out my key would not work, called front desk they explained I was in room #9062 west, so off I go to the west tower only to find their isn't a 9062 west. Back on the phone only to find out that my room # is 9162 west tower, off again to room, key works but only to find that the room has not been made at all, dirty bathroom un made beds just dirty. Call front desk they were very sorry switched my room and gave an in house credit of $100.00. Still very disappointing coming from a starwoods property
