Filthy rooms
On our first day we found the sink complexly dirty and also backed up. The tile floor in the entrance looked filthy and the cleaning staff was unable to remove the grime - we were told the tile was just stained. On our next to the last day we saw a cockroach in our room. This was really disgusting. We requested a room change. We were taken to a room a few doors down and found the entrance really dirty. That is how far into the room we made it. We were taken to another room that looked cleaner, we unpacked and then noticed the room was in front of the elevator bays. The noise was just too much for us and we requested another room change. We were taken to another floor where the air conditioner units must have been – the noise was unbearable. It sounded like we were in a wind tunnel. Needleless to say, we refused to stay in that area. At this point we requested to speak to a manager and were curtly informed the manager was unavailable. After more than two hours we were taken to another room that looked better. We accepted to stay there. On closer inspection, we noticed the tile entrance was also badly stained and splattered with white paint. All the counters were riddled with glass rings – it was obvious they had not been cleaned. We were just too tired for another move. The next morning we noticed the coffee machine was broken. On our way out we stopped by the front desk and informed the staff of the condition of the room and the asked then to please clean the room and replace the defective coffee machine. We also requested to speak with the manager and again were informed the manager was unavailable. When we got back to the room that night we noticed the room had not been leaned and the coffee machine was not replaced. Stay away from this hotel!

Why a "RESORT FEE?"
Very good overall experience. I can't understand why a prepaid hotel stay stiil has a lingering "resort fee" to deal with at checkout. The "resort fee" should be folded into the 'paid-in-full' price. I can't stand it when someone tries to nickel and dime me. It detracts frome the overall experience. To be fair, the fee was disclosed to me at booking, but it is still aggravating.

Disney Summer vacation
The pools and hotel restaurants were very nice. The room needs some TLC. We originally were on the 11th floor. We noticed ants above the bar area. A maintenance man came and sprayed after my second phone call. We then discovered more any on the dresser area. They kindly moved us to another room on the first floor. However, I don't think they thoroughly cleaned the room before allowing us to move our stuff. There was hair on the bathroom floor and in the one bed. There was dirt all over the tile floor. Did I mention the tile floor was sticky? We put towels down all over the tile so that we could walk on it!! Also, the shower curtain liner needed changed...GROSS! The bedskirt and towels were stained. The light above the bar needed changed... I called twice, but it was never changed. They did clean the room the next day... did everything except the shower curtain and the light bulb. The place needs updated. There were workers around doing some updating... I think. Just seems a little run down for the money! We didn't spend a lot of time in the room so that helped! Best part was being able to walk to 2 of the 4 parks without squeezing into a crowded bus each time.

Bad customer service
Although the location is ideal, there is little to make this outstanding. Had to call downstairs when there was trouble in the hall...no security? And then had to deal with a nippy concierge when I complained. Have to walk through smoking section to get to shuttle bus. Can hear next door. Would not recommend.
