Ideal location for our cruise
When friends came to visit they were told I had not yet registered even though I HAD BEEN registered for a couple of hours and waiting for them to arrive. Breakfast far too expensive.

Great location!
Chose this hotel because of the proximity to the South beach and the airport. Room was clean and well maintained and we had a fantastic view. Air conditioning wasn't good enough and the television channels were minimal and had poor picture quality. We loved the fact that there were three restaurants within the complex. The Chinese one was good but expensive. Still I love the Marriott overall and would excuse them for the problems..it s not usual at least I haven't seen many in my travel.WOuld stay there another time, hopefully it is better.

good but not perfect
hotel is good and staff are friendly and helpful~good location~excllent gym~the only thing is, the poor wifi signal and so does the poor wired connection~and the charge of the internet seems too high~one more, they do not have plenty food choices in the dinning restaurant

nice hotel, expensive. Better find room in the upper levels because of traffic noise. Worth paying the $30 upcharge for bayview.

Pleasantly surprised
This Marriot was the best location for me while in Miami. Its situated at the midway point from my rental unit and South Beach. I noticed the staff was well dressed and seem proud to be a part of the Marriot. I spent most of my time away from the hotel while doing repair work at the unit. The valet parking service was excellent and my room was always quiet, relaxing and spotless when I returned at night. I liked the music (bossa nova, jazz) at the front entrance while waiting for my car. The cleaning staff was very friendly, always smiling. Another staff member informed me of upcoming remodeling work at the lobby area. I look forward to a return trip there.
