NOT BAD
Well i read the reviews on this hotel before i arrived and had some reservations but it turned out to be not so bad. There is a DJ that plays music every other night, which wasn't as bad as some of the reviews made it out to be. The hotels location was perfect with multiple places to eat and shop right outside and there is also a Bank Of America right next door. The room is small but i didnt need much. The only complaint i would have is the shower, Sometimes in their attempt to be "different" in their decor these hotels make decisions that aren't practical..the shower had glass that only covered 3/4 of the shower opening maybe....so there was that 1/4 left with no glass and no door to close so everytime you took a shower water splashed all over the bathroom floor..oh and the back of the shower was mirrored..which was kind of HOT..lol....Overall it was not bad....Staff was great..John at the front desk, great guy...

Comfy accomodations at the Chelsea
Need a room for a quick getaway without a need to rent a car. The hotel was within walking distance from decent restaurants on Ocean Drive and very nice beaches. The room was small but adequate and pleasant enough. For the price we thought it was good value and had a cute vibe.

jusy ok
It was just ok. The rooms are small but it was nice. Plenty of food options nearby and in the hotel itself was actually good. There is a drug store across the street that came in handy. Our only problem was the hot water on the shower faucet was stripped out and we had to do alott of work to get hot water

Chelsea Hotel
I liked the atmosphere and decor of the hotel, but there were people yelling outside our door all hours of the night. I didn't get much sleep. It was a good location - close to the beach, restaurants, and shops

showed up at the hotel and they said they didn't have a room for me even though i got a confirmation from [...]. they said they had a sister hotel, the chesterfield, a block away and sent me walking. not a great first impression. but the sister hotel room was actually pretty nice. pleasantly surprised, good value.

Fine stay
Room was nice (small) the maid service was good. While I was sleeping the person I was staying with brought someone to our room and the next morning my phone was gone. South Beach is fun, loud, diverse and a non-stop party (if you want it). The bar manager was very up-tight and yelled at me for walking down into the lobby with a beer from my room.

Nightlife tip:
Short walk from hotel
Don't walk alone at night. Don't let strangers - no matter how nice they may seem - in your room. There's a population of people who make a living off of preying on tourists.

good location
The hotel was small, and there was no wifi unless you had a room close to the lobby, which I requested. The hotel staff is nice, and I did enjoy my stay. The hotel is located in a good spot. It is right next to the beaches, clubs and shopping centers.

Short walk from hotel
Every thing is in walking distance and parking is very expensive all over South Beach. Unless you are planning to leave South Beach on your vacation a car is not needed. Parking meters charge you more than a dollar an hour 9am to 3am every day even holidays.
