Clean hotel, friendly staff, great location
Everything at this hotel was absolutely fine. The staff down at the reception were very friendly and helpful as well as the lady serving breakfast and the cleaners. The room was clean and the little kitchen area was a nice bonus. The breakfast was basic but adequate and its served up on a beautiful balcony overlooking the beach. The lady serving serving the drinks during the happy hour did seem a bit on edge/sharp and my partner and I were a bit uncomfortable but other than that I would happily reccomend the hotel to a friend. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Nice Quick Stay
Stayed for one night on Valentine's day. Enjoyed the happy hour, and helpfulness of the staff. Location was great!

Good hotel for price
The location of the hotel is fantastic! The staff were very nice. They were full of suggestions when asked about places to go. The rooftop had awesome views of the ocean and it was a great place to have breakfast and happy hour. The showers in the bathroom are a little quirky, but had everything one would need to get ready. For the price this hotel is definitely worth considering.

Consider eating at restaurants off Ocean drive. There are some really great places the locals go to that are much more budget friendly.

Poor service and hidden "resort fees"
Background...I stayed at this hotel for the first night of my honeymoon before leaving for a cruise the next day. I paid for a king deluxe suite with an ocean view, and I was originally given a small queen room with an ocean view as well as a beautiful view of the stairs (sarcasm). The AC was blowing in the middle of December. It took talking to multiple employees and finally a manager to get switched to the correct room with a working thermostat. The price of the room also does not include the $18 "resort fee" that is automatically charged for using a few beach chairs for a couple of hours. The place is really cool, but the service and pricing information was poor at best.

There is a great local sandwich shop around the corner from the hotel. It made for a wonderful picnic on the beach.

Great location but definitely not 4 stars
Staff are friendly and it's a perfect location. However, there was an ongoing loud noise by our room window, working on a signage or lighting. Floor tiles were installed up in the roof where breakfast was served. Towels and linen that were kept in the room had holes and worn out.

Great time
My friend and i stayed at this hotel in July 201--the staff was amazing and the service good. Rooms are large, clean, and modern. Location is perfect--right on the beach and on oceandrive

Edgewater Hotel is Amazing!
This is an amazing hotel. The staff was superb and helpful! The room was gorgeous and the bathrooms great. Would def stay here again. There isnt a pool, but Miami Beach is like 20 feet from the front door. Great location--you are near all the hot spots on Ocean Drive.

Phenomenal
I went there with my gf for 7 days and 6 night. I couldn't ask for a better view. The hotel sits right on Ocean Drive where everything is located. Only 3 blocks to Espanola Way and 5 blocks to Lincoln Drive. Everyone at the hotel was so nice. Loved the happy hour everyday on the rooftop. I would and will definitely stay here again. If you do stay here just make sure to go to the CVS or Walgreens and stock up on water or any drinks. The drinks that are in the mini bar aren't worth buying. Liquor store is right across the street.

good value
Good value, great location. Clean and comfy room. a little stuffy though in room and hallways. If youre looking for a quiet hotel this is perfect, if youre looking for a party hotel this is not it.......
