Floridays Orlando Resort

This was a great hotel. I would stay there again. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It is also a great location. The drive to Disney World and Sea World was just a short distance away from the hotel. What a great place to stay. The pool was awesome!

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and spent one day at Disney. It was very close to Disney and the hotel offers a free shuttle. It was perfect for our vacation. The pool was like a mini waterpark with beach sand, my kids were thrilled. Checking in and checking out were swift and easy. Lots of towels in the room and toiletry supplies.

Stayed here while attending a convention at Disney World. The location was great,enough out of the way to be quiet and restful but close enough to arrive at the meeting in less than 20 minutes. The check in was quick and the staff very attentive. A gentleman escorted us to our building and assisted with the luggage. We stayed in one of the back building overlooking the lake. It was a lovely spot to see while sitting on the balcony at night and very peaceful after a day of crowds. The kitchen is well equipped. The master bath whirlpool tub was wonderful.We had to ask for a computer cable to use the dial up but it was supplied quickly and the connection was fast even though we are used to wireless. The king size bed was too soft to our liking, but we have a very firm matress at home. We will definitely stay there again.

We mainly stayed around the pool. Our kids are 3 weeks and 17 months so the theme parks are too much. However, the resort would be a great launching point for any of the theme parks. We will book here again and this time get a three bedroom unit with friends. We also brought our dog.

We stayed at the resort for 5 nights while visiting Disney World. The resort is beautiful, location is great and service was wonderful. They offer shuttle service to and from the parks. The only problem is that it is offered 3 times in the am and 3 times late in the evening. No middle times in case you get tired or have a little one! The price was great, but it would have been much easier to stay on the grounds!

For a last minute booking this was good accomodation at a good price. We had a 3 bed apartment. It was in a quiet location but a long way from the main check in where the main pool and gym were located. The living area was a little small but as we were only there for a couple of nights it was fine. Unfortunately the spa bath did not work and the cold water tap fell into the hot water and was difficult to retrieve!! All in all though we were happy with the prive, location and cleanliness of the apartments. We would recommend to others with families.

The overall experience was wonderful. Great rooms, the luxury master bath was enjoyable following a long day. The only down side was the noise of rolling carts and running that could be heard in the early (7am)morning, from the front bedroom. Awsome vacation!

Unfortunately, the weather turned very cold and we could not enjoy the beautiful pools even though they were heated. This is a Vacation Resort (like a Time Share) and they offered $100 off food or other purchases if one attended their 2 hour presentation. The resort staff was very professional and courteous. The lobby was gorgeous! We had a delightful stay and would recommend it at the reduced price. Beds were not too comfortable.

On our recent Disney vacation, my family stayed (again) at Floridays. We love the central location of the hotel, the pool is very nice (but the weather was too cold this time to let us swim), and the rooms are very spacious. For a family of four with two small kids, a 3 bedroom suite is a real plus! On this trip there were a few room maintenance problems (the hot tub jets weren't working, we were missing a hairdryer, the light bulb in the shower needed to be changed, and the in-room safe was stuck) - but in each case the front desk responded to the problem quickly and efficiently. The customer service was truly excellent.A much bigger annoyance was a fire alarm malfunction at 1:00 am on our last day there. For the 45 minutes that followed, the alarm would go off every few minutes - an ear splitting sound that makes you physically ill after a while. I am thankful that such alarms exist for real emergencies, but in the context of an electrical malfunction this was a very painful experience. My kids were very frightened and up for the rest of the night. To his credit, Mr. [...], the front office supervisor, was very apologetic when we were checking out and agreed to waive the resort fee for the inconvenience of our sleepless night. Again, excellent customer service.My only other complaint is that the room can be a bit noisy. Were were in building F on the 6th floor. The windows let a lot of noise in, and we heard people talking outside almost as if they were in the room. The side of the building we were in faced the maintenance facilities (garbage, laundry) for the resort and that was another source of noise. I would recommend staying in a different building or at least on a different side of the building if given the opportunity.In summary, very spacious, good facilities, great location, excellent customer service, some housekeeping/maintenance problems, and a bit noisy.
