Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress

Fabulous pool! Wonderful to relax in after trek through theme park. Staff courteous & helpful. We were able to see fireworks from our room and enjoyed the fresh made breakfast buffet imensely! Will stay again!

Beautiful grounds (so beautiful you could convince yourself you were in an exotic location NOT central Florida-------loved the white, sandy beach!!!!!..........everyone helpful and concerned about our vacation experience (very attentive food/beverage poolside service OF NOTE: gratuities are already included poolside)........fantastic food........hotel atrium was a vacation experience in itself...........very ZEN-like......calm and relaxing.......loved that the pool grounds were open 24-7! CAUTION:Hotel is addressing the taxi confusion. White town cars on the hotel property are FIXED rate fares with Hyatt/Mears. [Bellhops will place you in a town car if you have not ordered a metered cab.] Metered cabs must be called by hotel guests and are cheaper.

hotel offers excelent service with beautifully decorated rooms and lobby. rooms were quiet and our view was gorgeous. it has things that are a must see. we gave a 5 star to it with no problem. restaurants were great.

Came to this hotel for a romantic getaway and although we have lived in Orlando for 25 years have never stayed here before. Had the best time. Can't say anything negative about the hotel except that we had to leave and go home. Staff was over accomodating, rooms were beautiful and clean, resort activities were plentiful and included in the resort fee, food was excellent.

I'm 23 years old, and made the trip to Orlando as a couple. Let me just preface this review by saying I'm not an avid traveler by any means. I've maybe gone on vacation 10 times in my entire life. However, I can't imagine any experience being better than the one I had at the Grand Cypress. First off, the staff were extremely nice. Checking in was a breeze, and we were greeted with kind smiles, and more importantly a double dose of champagne. We also requested a later checkout, and that was no problem at all either. The rooms were very nice, very spacious, and the bed was as comfortable as my home mattress. The pool was gorgeous, and the "grotto" housed two separate hot tubs, and a third on the outside. One very important thing to note: we were informed by other experienced Orlando travelers that one nice thing about the Grand Cypress was their pool/hot tub doesn't close at night, while apparently other hotels in the area close their swimming amenities around 10. While we didn't eat at the hotel, the location to other restaurants across the street made it very a convenient venture for food. It was also right next to Downtown Disney, and about a 15 minute car ride to Universal. I could go on and on about how great our experience was, and the bottom line is it's definitely the best hotel I've ever stayed at.

Excellent setup; room newly refurbished, very comfortable environment. Easy access to workout areas, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Best hotel in Orlando to date.

Internet is not good

Room was nice, clean, quiet. Beds very comfortable. It's Big - long walks from meeting areas to room/recreation areas/gym etc. Food and drink were expensive, but several chain restaurants nearby.

The resort was an excellent place to enjoy on "days off" between visits to Universal studios. We enjoyed the resort so much we extended our stay by one night to a total of 5 nights. Our boys, ages 11 and 13, especially enjoyed the fantastic swimming pool and pitch and putt golf. We also enjoyed the paddle boats. The jogging path is nice and the fitness center was excellent (with extensive hours!)We ran out of time to use climbing wall or play golf. The landcaping was beautiful as well as the atrium in the hotel and view from the room (and we had one of the least "desirable" room views).

second time i have been to the hotel, it is a great place. lots to do, basketball, fitness room, steam and sauna rooms, canoeing, and they have a really nice pool. will be back
