The Sheraton Vistana Resort is in a lush, park-like setting dotted with palm trees, fountains and pools that attracts leisure travelers to this Lake Buena Vista resort. Guests hole up in one- or two-bedroom villas equipped with kitchens for extended stays or take advantage of the many leisure options onsite, like hard and clay tennis courts and bicycle rentals. Tight Quarters
Our one-bedroom with kitchenette was tight and seemed to need an overhaul. This must have been in one of the resort's older units. On the plus side, we loved the convenience of a kitchen with full size ref and washer/dryer. Also you can't beat the resort's proximity to Disney World (literally around the corner) and Sea World although that was a little further out (10-minute drive). We didn't get to sample their many pools because it was too cold. We did eat at one of their restaurants and the eat-all-you-can pizza and salad bar for $7.00 was very reasonably priced considering where we were. The only thing we didn't like was being asked to participate in their 90-minute time-share sales pitches. We were asked many times! They even called our room at 8:00 AM one morning to ask if we would join!

great for families
We have stayed at the Vistana before and have always enjoyed our stay. The pools are great for kids of all ages. The location is close to all the parks and attractions. We always rent a 2 bedroom unit and there is more than enough space. We do not own a time share and the front office does leave a message daily trying to sell you one but it's easy to ignore. The only problem we had this vacation was the pool towels. Every time we went to the pool, there were large laundry bins overflowing with dirty towels and never clean ones. Other than that, we had a great stay and we'd go back.

Go food shopping at the Walmart down the road. The prices are much cheaper than the grocery stores near by.

Very family friendly
The hotel was in a very good location. Close to most anything you might want to go to. The rooms were spacious with two bathrooms, a family room and even a nice little kitchen.

I don't think I will stay there again
ppl was friendly but the hotel was not that clean! many things was stupid like showing the ID at gate after 8:30 pm!!! why I need to show my ID if I have parking permission paper on my car mirror

It?s clean but outdated
The hotel room was clean but the room looked very old as well as the bathroom. the furniture looked from the 80?s. However, The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very clean. We liked that Disney?s parks were close by as well as some outlet stores.

If you are driving to Disney?s parks, try to arrive at opening hours so you will get to park your car not that far from the entrance, and you can enjoy the most popular attractions at that hour as the parks are not full yet.

a friendly neighborhood
The Vistana Resort is a good value for people who are vacationing together. It is very family oriented. The rooms are very spacious and provide a wonderful living arrangement. The Vistana Resort is close to all of the Theme Parks and they provided directions for everything in the immediate area. The only downfall is that the room decor is outdated. As of this date they are restoring most of the buildings. At this time part of the resort is under construction which did cause some problems for us as the work-out/exercise room was closed and the bridge to the pool was also closed. If you don't mind out dated decor and furniture and some construction in the area then this is still a good place to stay.

Very good place to stay. I was only not satisfied in that they had you have to show you license at evry security gate, even if you were already a registered gust with a parking pass.
