Sheraton Vistana Villages - All Villa Resort on International Drive

Well where to we start. When i called for directions, the lady sounded extreamly annoyed and basically asked me to help myself to a map. Check-in was extreamly crowded since the check-in time was apparently set in stone we were there 2 hours before check-in and had to kindly wait in the lobby. When it was finally 4PM our rooms wern't ready so they asked us if they could give us a room in differnt section of the hotel... sure i said (couldn't they have done this to start with). Once we get to the room the utencills kindly provided by them had spots on it and then i read the label on the cabinet that said that federal law doesn't require them to sanitize the utencils. Next I opened up the sofa bed and hopped on it BAD idea the rails and springs emebedded themsleves into my back the matress was like a cardboard..... cheap stuff. There was no trash can in the entire room (seriously). So I head down to the pool and that probably was the only experiance of this trip that I enjoyed there were good people there from all over the world and it was a nice big pool with warm water OH and the other guests complained about their rooms too. I called them next morning for some toothpaste and I timed it... they took 47 minutes to deleiver toothpaste to my room. I was gone the whole day when i returned the housekeeping was a JOKE they took the dirty towels and gave me new ones and a shampoo and conditioner and made the bed. THAT was it, they didnt touch the sofa bed, they didnt replace tea towel in kitchen, didnt take out the trash, (not even in the bathroom), they didnt replace sheets, they didn't clean the countertop or anything. I couldnt sleep that night, the walls are paper thin and a door connected my room to my neighbor's room who had company over and they had about 12 too many and were in mood for a party so....well I had to stay up through it. That night I called room service for a blanket and an extra pillow 2 hours pass by so I give them a call and check status and she said "We are really short on people and we are getting toomany calls we are aware of your problem and we will fix it as soon as we can" another hour pass by... total of 3 hours they knock at the door at 2 in the morning and they give me a pillow and 2 bed sheets and said they were out of blankets............. are you KIDDING me? we checked out the next day which was quick and painless. This hotel was the worst hotel expierence I have ever had PLEASE be careful of this particular branch of Sheraton I have been to other Sheratons but vistana villages Orlando was by FAR the worst of any hotels or even MOTELS i have stayed in. I wish I can get a refund for this.

it is in the middle of no where, they call you at 6 am for Time share presentation, room was old and not clean. waste of time and money

The hotel itself was not bad and in good location. The room was clean and furniture was what you would expect. The problem was with the annoying phone calls at 7 AM asking you to join a seminar for a "Time share' Push. They do not tell you that, but this it was all about! I was a victim of these calls that I agreed to a free lunch, but once I realized the scam, I called and canceled. I was so surprised that upon checking out at 5 AM that I was charged $100.00 for not showing up at the so called free lunch!! Now back from vacation, I've been calling them every day for the past week to get my money back, but every time I called, I was transferred to a manger's voice mail who I think do not believe in calling me back!!

This has been my second visit to Vistana Villages using Orbitz. First experience was very good. This second visit I was again placed in the same location. Nothing to talk about the quality of the rooms. Run down, old, dirty, plates were terrible. Thanks to the staff at the hotel i was able to relocate to much better accommodations.

The room had roaches, there was a mini fridge that I had to defrost two times in order to keep our food cold. The garbage disposal did not work nor did the toaster, but they did bring us a new toaster. The room was smaller than we had thought it would be, but the pool was nice.

outdated, poor service, smokers everywhere and butts everywhere - nice pool but this place needs a major upgrade - showers were disgusting and water smelled and tasted like rotten eggs.

Hotel is nice, 50% of staff is nice, we had the 2 bedroom villa, the sheets were very crispy like a bag of chips, the room seems a little worn out, umm they need new carpet. Phone rings early in the morning, come down and recieve your free gift. Come to our short presentation and free breakfast. What a mistake these people were like a pack of wild animals, trying to sell time share. We said no thanks many times but they continued to put pressure. Finally we had to just walk out on them and they were very angry. This really makes me feel like i will never stay in a Starwood, Sheritan, Westin, or any other affiliate again. We talked to a guy that owned a time share with them that he traded with his in Hawaii, the front desk was calling them so much they had to unplug their phone. All in all its a nice place bbut dont accept their gift or breakfast or just dont awnser the phone.

This is was my third visit to this property over the last 4 years. Like always things get worse every time. There was no hot water and the staff phone calls rang at the same time every morning. If you want a time share get one if you don't please don't stay there. They will pressure you every time you go to buy something that is so over priced.

Check in was streamline, but they offer their Timeshare programs the minute you get there. Then they call you 2 times a day to get you to go one of their sessions. If you are up to sitting there for 90 mins and gets some perks, but our family had events and agendas every day. Everything was going great until the forth night. We started getting bug bits. It started with my wife and then me. We thought it was bed bugs and I was doughting that thought. Then about 1:30 am, I hear a screem from my wife that there is a "big" bug in the room. I look around and found a 3 inch cockroach crawing around. I try to kill it but it going under the bed and under the furnature. We called down the guest services and they were willing to switch our room but it was 2 am in the morning. I finally killed it and we slept on the couch bed until morning. I just think the hotel should have a better way of fumagating the rooms.
