Universal's Loews Royal Pacific Resort

We were pleasantly surprised that the attention to detail makes you feel far removed from a theme park setting It truly gives off an island feel. The pool was fantastic. The room service and restaurant were great. The staff was very attentive during check in. I was really torn between Hard Rock & Royal Pacific, but after our stay we will return to Royal Pacific without hesitation.

This was a wonderful stay even though we only had to days. This hotel offers many amentities along with many activities to do both for couples and for families. Very upscale hotel even though it is close to Orlando and it has a great location to CityWalk and amusement parks. It feels like they transform you to the South Pacific but you are still close to Disney and Orlando. I would recommend to anyone who needs a few days to get away but doesn't want to travel far.

The ambiance of the resort left us feeling as though we had arrived at a tropical island paradise. The staff was extremely accomodating and our room was excellent. The convenience factor cannot be compared to any other. The kids LOVED getting on the hotel's boat each morning to reach the theme parks. The activities were AMAZING, and unlike any others we have experienced. The hotel's Luau was fun for us all, and the hotel plays movies in the pool at night (I have never seen this before and we all enjoyed it immensely). One of the best hotel features for our family in particular was the restaurant that offered a children's dining area. (We have an energetic 2 year old who does not care to stay seated for more than a few minutes at a time, so dining out is rare!)The children's dining area contained tables for us adults, as well as a children's buffet and plenty of activities for the children. Our 2 year old and our 6 year old made several friends, and they enjoyed lying on the canopy bed in the center of the room watching Spongebob on a plasma TV, playing with the puppets on the puppet stage, creating their own shows, playing dinosaurs, videogames, and more. All the while, my husband and I were able to enjoy one another's company at our table, knowing that the kids were a few feet away enjoying themselves (they would come over to the table, take a few bites of dinner, then quickly return to their new friends and continue playing). It was wonderful for us to know that the kids were not bothering anyone, and were safely close to us. Several friends have said that they will stay at Loew's Royal Pacific Resort during their next vacation, simply for the children's dining and the convenience to the theme parks. We cannot speak higher of our experience.

This was an excellent hotel to stay at. My family had the time of their life. I especially loved the "express pass" that came with your stay, this saved countless hours. We never waited in a line at Universal for more than 5 minutes!! We are going back again next year!!

They gave us a Water-view King room with a smile. I also mentioned that it was our anniversary and how happy we were to be back. Not an hour after checking in, a bottle of champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries showed up at our door with a lovely note from the front desk, with congratulations. The kind of service that the Loews Royal Pacific Resort offers, is unlike any I've ever experienced. We were there during Tropical Storm Fay. We had 5 days of torrential rain. We were determined to make our once a year vacation the best we possibly could, despite the weather. With the staff at the RPR, it wasn't difficult. Our last day there, they opened the pool area (even in the downpour), and we were chatting with one of the waiters at the Bula Bar by the pool. He mentioned that the hotel's motto was, Four star service everyday - PLUS and that it was their job to find that PLUS everyday and extend it to their guests. Well, they did that...and so much more. We can't wait to go back again - very soon.

The pacific loews hotel had beautiful surroundings. It was located really close by universal studios and there were various ways to get there either a leisurely stroll through the riverwalk, a water taxi, and a bus shuttle. City walk was also right there! The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

This hotel was perfect for a weekend away. So close to Universal Studios but also quiet enough to relax in the pool all day. Highly recommended!

The Lowes Royal Pacific Hotel is very comfortable with all the needed amenities. Service in Resturaunts was excellent and all staff were very friendly! The inclusion of attraction fast pass ability was well used.Would stay here again for Universal. Also stayed at Portifino Bay before bur liked this hotel better.

I highly recommend this hotel. It has a relaxing Asian influence and beautifully landscaped grounds. The pool is well designed and laid out so it offers Adult quiet zones and a great kid friendly area that kept my 4 year old neice engaged. We ate in all the hotel restaurants and enjoyed them all; especially Emerils. A great dining experience, indulge and try everything on the menu that appeals to you. We brought Grandma along who attended the luau; I recommend you make reservations ASAP and get there 30 minutes early. She arrived 15 minutes after seating, buffet was wiped out and she had a poor seating for the show. The best value of this hotel is it's location. A relaxing 5 minute boat ride to the park. Great for park weary travelers at the end of the day. I also recommend you walk the beautiful path from the hotel to the park. 8 minutes later you are in City Walk.

The staff was very accomodating as soon as we arrived. We weren't able to check-in until 7:30 p.m. due to flight delays. We had 8:00 p.m. tickets to Blue Man Group and did not think we were going to make it. I asked the staff for the quickest directions to get to there and they offered to drive us as close to the entrance as they could get us. The next helpful experience was several days later when I realized I left my purse (with everything in it) on a shuttle bus that had just dropped us off at the hotel entrance. One of the hotel employees tried to catch the driver at the entrance but missed him. He then used his cell phone to call the shuttle service to arrange them to come back to hotel and they did. Everything worked out just fine! I couldn't have asked for a more friendly, customer-focused atmosphere.
