Universal's Loews Royal Pacific Resort

The Royal Pacific is wonderful, the staff is so friendly, the hotel is so clean, the location is so convenient to everything. I will not stay anywhere else when i go to Orlando. very happy

Loved my stay at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort. The hotel is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Loved the lush landscaping, shuttle boat to City Walk and the Express passes to Universal!

Pros: 1. Pleasant check in 2. Good cleaning staff 3. Pretty hotel 4. Walking distance from city walk and universal theme parks, also a water taxi is provided for free 5. Nice pool with free entertainment including a torch lighting ceremony and movie night. Cons: 1. Food is horrible. Limited menus and cheap food. The nachos served in the hotel have cheese sauce on them instead of real cheese but are 15 dollars. 2. To use the gym with a couple treadmills and weights in it is an extra 10 dollars a day. 3. To use wifi it is an extra 10 dollars a day.

We have been coming to this hotel for over seven years now. It is our favorite for the dollar and can't be beat it's location to the parks. The hotel offers good dining and fun activities for the kids no matter what age. My son has basically grown up here. The hotel staff are all friendly and helpful.

Nice place to stay with easy access to the parks and great food. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

We stayed as afamily for 2 nights. The facility is truly amazing. Couldn't ask for more. But the rooms are really just normal nice hotel rooms and for the price I was hoping for bigger rooms. But if you want early park entry and a fast pass for univ studios this is a wonderful way to do it.

The Royal Pacific is the cheapest of the three great on site hotels at Universal and in my humble opinion ... its the best . A well kept secret . From the moment you cross over the MOAT you feel like your vacation has started and started WELL . I only live an hour away but Ive been taking the kids / now adults , there for years . The valet parking is a bit much at 24 plus tax per day but overall the place is fantastic . Not sure if I would use CLUB LEVEL again ... a bit overpriced and the place has TOO many rules and times and less perks ( food } than in past years . Being so close to Universal is the main perk of course and skipping the lines will never get old .

Great staff and customer service. Location to Universal Studios was great! We could walk to the parks within 5 minutes. An older hotel, but still well maintained. Look forward to visiting again. Highly recommend.

We vacationed at nearby theme parks with the family. The negatives Changed my room assignment so we had to wait in a half an hour line and basically check in twice. The 2nd level room they put us in had a terrible odor that crept in from the hallway. Complained twice. It was not remedied. Parking was not free, adding a 5th guest requires that youpay a daily rent a folding bed. House keeping arrived at funny hours. 2 PM? Positives: Close to the Theme Park and staying there gives you the perk of getting on the rides quick. They were happy to provide fresh towels. 10 minute walk from the park. access to the theme park 1 hour early

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at this hotel. Both experiences have been good. The rooms are nice, but not really better than average. The location is fabulous - just a 7 minute walk to the parks or you can take a water taxi or bike rickshaw. The pool is great, and they even do pool-side movies at night. The only drawback to this hotel is the internet situation. I know, I know - people might say we shouldn't be on the internet on vacation, but that is enjoyable for us. Plus, we download books and movies for entertainment during downtime. The internet connection is NOT free. It costs $10/day or $24 for three days. We sucked it up and bought the 3-day version but then ended up calling for a refund because it was SO incredibly slow. Your best bet is to sit in the lobby and do your business for free. Other than that, staff was very nice and accommodating and the grounds are lush, beautiful and relaxing.
