Boardwalk Beach Resort Convention Center and Hotel

Bad place to stay or the money you pay. Dirty room and small and dirty bathroom (NO AIR VENTILLATION). Whole hotel area smells sewage or something like that. Supervisor was not nice and greedy approach - they charged us 9.60 because we booked through or...tz (that is pity when you are paying almost $200/night). Anyway we are not going to book with RA. Bad vacation experience.

Overpriced sucked. Did not meet any of our requests.

Please heed my warning!!! I read these reviews and went anyway. I normally stay in one star cheap motels, and I thought this couldn't be any worse. Boy was I wrong! Those motels are the Ritz compared to this place. My room was what I expect from a place that charges $50 a night not $100. The furniture was broken, the beds were awful, there wasn't even any complimentary shampoo for guests. This all pales in comparison to the cleanliness of the room. When we were settling in we moved the bed covers to discover a dirty, used CONDOM ON THE FLOOR. But, it didn't stop there, oh no, there was dirty underwear under the bed and condom wrappers everywhere. Im pretty sure they didn't even look under the beds. Please don't waste your money... go stay at the Travelers lodge down the road and use the money you save to drive to the public beach. I am still waiting to hear back from the manager to see if I will get my money back for this horrible experience. We'll see.

not good spring break is def not a good time to stay there for families with children. to much partying loud music and drinking, we had someone saying he was there to check us out at 3a.m. just opened the door and walked in so it had to be staff because he had a key. i called to say t.v. wasnt working and asked if they would bring us another one and they said maintance would be right up i never seen them.

We paid in advance for the Hotel thru a travel site, only to find out when we got there that we had to pay 51.00 more for one night, They said it was for insurance on the room, and there was no way around it. Also, they rented all of the rooms but ours to underage highschool and college kids, by themselves. I know it is spring break, but it was ridiculous how loud they were all night long. Then checkout time was 8am, not the standard 10 am. And lastly, they had this long checklist that you had to fill out to make sure every single little item in the Hotel room was accounted for when you checked in. and then when you were ready to check out you had to call them and wait for them to come up to the room to inspect it before you could leave. As if that's not enough, the room was not very clean looking and the carpet was really old. We would never stay there again, that's for sure. That was the 1st time we had ever booked anything thru this travel company and the fact that we had to pay 51. dollars above and beyond what we had already paid I would be hesitant to use them again.

When we first arrived we were blindsided by an $80 resort fee even though we already pre-paid the room. We had to complete a damages form and turn it in within 1 hour which was also highly irregular. The staff was rude and they had to do a walkthrough of the room while we were present before we could check out. The room was poor to mediocre at best. The location was pretty great.

My stay at the Boardwalk was lousy for the following reasons. The Obitz web site didn’t mention this was a dog hotel. I had to hear dogs bark all night. The hotel is being remodel outside the hallways had no security lights it was very dark getting to your room. The phone in the room didn’t work so I couldn’t call the front desk. They were no security guards on the hotel property around 5:00 AM I had to call the police because a drunken mob was outside my room ready to have a fight each other. While all this was going on throughout the night I had to wake up at early to catch a plane to Vegas. Which mad me very tried on my first day of vacation? The lactation is great that’s all I can say.

I didn't like this hotel at all it looks more like a cheap motel rather that a hotel resort,never coming back to this "resort"

The room faced the ocean, which was nice. The room quality wasn't that great. The ice machines were never full. The power went out for 5 hours and no one ever notified us of the situation, nor offered any discount, it was way too hot. The picture stated the hotel was 22 floors, the actual hotel was 4 stories. The condos were 22 floors, there is a difference.

THERE WAS NOTHING I LIKED ABOUT THIS OVERPRICED DUMP, OTHER THAN LEAVING
