Days Inn Panama City Beach/Ocean Front

My husband and I are typically hotel snobs. But, we wanted a quick get away with our 2 year old and didn't want to break the bank. So, we tried this hotel out. The hotel is dated, sports 80's room decor and could use sprucing up for sure. Let's be clear--this is no 5 star hotel with all the bells,whistles, updated interior etc., but it was clean. The reason I highly recommend this hotel is the location for the price. It is rare you can get beach front, all rooms with an ocean view for a little over $100 a night. We were traveling with a beach obsessed toddler, so we knew we did not want the hassle even having to walk across the street with all our gear to the beach. We were a quick elevator ride to the sand and water. The pool area was nice, but the water was very cold. The breakfast they serve is basic (cold cereal, fruit, donuts, sausage and biscuits, breads, etc.) and the eating area small, but it served its purpose and was perfectly fine. The one recommendation I do make is to bring a broom (or even dust brush and pan) or buy one when you get there. The staff did a good job of cleaning each day, but sand was always an issue which is to be expected! I've seen other reviews complaining about the sand, but come on--it's a beach!! I finally went to the dollar store and bought a broom and it made me a lot happier. If you plan to spend an extraordinary amount of time in your room then this may not be the place for you. However, if you just need a place to occasionally sleep and can overlook the TLC this hotel needs--you cannot beat this location!

The Days Inn was perfect for a spring break trip! The location was great, and it has a really nice pool and hot tub. The staff was friendly, but every time we requested towels or sheets we never got them. The room could of definitely been cleaner, and more up to date. But overall for the price and location you can't beat it!

Very good for the price! Near restaurants and shopping. Very nice beach location. One negative is they need counter space in bathroom.

Great Hotel! Great Price! Great Facilities! Great Breakfast! More than anything perfect location. What a great view we had from the balcony. Nice hotel and enjoyed fully.

Loved the oceanfront balcony. Biscuits and gravy were great for breakfast. Hot tub was enjoyable. Room was comfortable.

Will go back ocean out the door of our room pleanty places to eat and have a drink n shop loved every minute

The location is fantastic. The amenities are terrible. during a 2 night stay we received no towels for the 2nd day. the room was DIRTY. the door was hard to open with the keycard, it took at least 2 tries each time to open the door, the door did not close without pushing it hard when closing, the door handle to the balcony was loose, the tile floors were dirty and slick. the second day it rained and the tile floors on the walkway to the room were slick, the room was so crowded 2 people could not pass on the way in or out. no one offered any maid service, I went to the laundry for towels,

what a great trip - if we needed anything - the staff was helpful friendly and quick! Right on the beach was a kiosk to sign up for para sailing and other boating outings. I went para sailing for the first time! What an amazingly awesome trip!

This place was nice especially with the deal we got beds were very comfortable and amenities were very nice pool and beach were beautiful hotel was very clean and friendly. I will definitely stay again only one complaint microwave didn't work but we ate out any way .
