Sterling Resorts- Emerald Isle

The unit was roomy and nicely decorated. The unclean carpet, very worn sofa and dirty sofa chairs detracted from the room's quality. However, the stay was quiet and peaceful. The beds in the bedrooms were very comfortable.

I have been vacationing in Panama City for the last 13 years and usually stay somewhere different every year. The room was on the 17th floor, spacious, beautiful decor, ammenities as far as the room was concerned were great, the service was the worst I have ever experienced since I took my first vacation after completing college 24 years ago. Today is Saturday 07-17-10 at 7:25pm and have never seen one staff member, housekeeper, linen lady, etc., and am still waiting for an answer to a question I had given the answering service now 98hrs and 25min ago. The staff in the hotel at the guest relations desk informed me only once that even though the room 1706 was physically located in Emerald Isle Condo. the managing service was Calypso Resort through Waterstone and that they were physically unable to handle any needs on our behalf. Every year for the last 3 years I have been taking my son and his wife and my grand-daughter on vacation in July for their birthday. I would rather not stay at this location again, unless it was free. Outside of the poor poor service the facility itself was located right on the beach, parking was not an issue, the pool was a little bit small and there were only 18 chairs for the entire facility.

The condo was great. It was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The check-in location was at a different hotel, a mile away. There was some confusion with parking passes and both locations charged me to park. I did get things resolved and a refund.

Check in was not on site. Parking was a nightmare. Pools were very small.

Overall everything was great. It was home away from home

The location was very good. It was right on the beach and close to the shopping centers. The experience was horrible. The lady at the front desk called me a curse word. The managers were very uncooperative. The staff was very lazy and rude. I would never go back there, if someone payed me money to.

It was a beautiful and clean condo. Everyone was very helpful.

Once I found the correct rental property owner and was finally able to check in(after 40 minutes of effort, they were located off site), I had a wonderful experience. Loved the room. Loved the view.

The condo was beautiful, very modern, and had large well-appointed rooms. Having three small children with us, we all had plenty of rooms. It was located right on the beach, and included complementary umbrella and chair rentals. It was a short drive to many restaurants.
