it was a nice room small pool but overall nice stay

I will never go there again. The room was tiny. Our gulf view was the side of the building by the beach access sidewalk so we couldnt leave leave our curtains open. te people next to us told us not to leave anything out because all of their chair got stolen after being left out 10 minutes. We got a phone call at 4 am saying our credit card didnt go through and we need to go the lobby and pay with cash and settle out account right away. I found this very suspious espicially when they called back a minute later and asked if we were on our way since it would take at least 5 minutes to get up and get dressed then walk all the way to the lobby. i thought someone wanted to rob us, you can never be too safe. I called the lobby and they said our payment went through fine and they did not call us but they informed us that we called them for towels. needless to say at that moment some one was banging on our door. to mug us or to give us towels? then there was the heated pool that was more like the antartic pool. And the baby in the regular pool with liquid stool coming out of his diaper. we got out immidiately and never went back to that pool which they never closed. the other pool was full of drunk red-necks drinking beer. Luckily my child is only 4 and didnt notice all the things me and my husband did. we will never go there again it was horrible. We have booked with Sugar Sands through[...] and will definitely go back there! so much for trying some place new!

WE have stayed at this hotel before and love it because it is small, family owned and away from all the traffic and congestion. Very convenient to beach and very nice pool. They have a grill and hot tub for guest use also. Very, very nice people

I had read the mixed reviews before going so I didnt know what to expect. My family really enjoyed the location being away from all the large hotels it feels like you have the beach to yourselves. We would definately go back...only this time take a mattress topper.. you get what you pay for. lol

Panama City Beach is run down and ratty. Go to Panam City. Not with $60 much less $160 a night.

This hotel was probably top-of-the-line in 1962, but now everything is old and rusty and moldy and smelly. However, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The location was exquisite. Even though the we sat in $6 discount store plastic chairs on our decrepit balcony it overlooked paradise. Had the weather not been perfect it would have been unbearable.

A relaxing outdoor entry hotel on a very relaxing end of the beach. The hotels staff is friendly. This hotel is located past Pier Park so it is away from the PCB strip which I didn't mind at all. Our room featured a nice my first apartment style kitchen and beautiful views on a private balcony. The rooms were nice and clean and overall this was a nice bang for the buck. Would definitely stay again. Hotel is a little older, however; it seemed to be updated nicely. A splendid place to relax and get away from it all.

Great ocean view. The beds were great. We had a very good rest, great shopping, and good retaurants. Met family and friends and basically had a good time.

The staff was very friendly. The location was very good, especially for the rate we paid. It served us well for one night with beach front, pool, hot tub and small kitchen.
