the hotel was much farther into the outskirts of Tampa than I thought. There were no restaurants around other than a Popeyes and a truck stop. The review said restaurant but there was none (just breakfast bar). Literally, this is adjacent to a truck stop. My cab driver laughed at me when we pulled up.

It was great when i come back this will be the place i will stay. I would recommend to friends.

My family and I stayed at the Seffner Country Inn & Suites during the Strawberry Festival in March. We accidentally left a few clothing items behind in a bag (T-shirt and a child's outfit). I called the hotel a couple of days later when I realized it. They said they would mail them to me. I told them to send it the cheapest way possible since the clothes weren't of huge significant value. They said they would. I asked for an estimate of what they thought it would cost. They told me about $7-$15, so I gave them my credit card number so they could ship it. I got the clothes a couple of days later and was billed $50.01 on my credit card!!! It had been sent Fed Ex Priority Overnight! I checked online to see how much it should have cost, it should have only cost $10.51 to send it the cheapest way by Fed Ex. I spoke to Fed Ex, and they said that it is solely the responsibility of the sender to fill out the shipping label of the package (which the hotel did not, they left the shipping method blank and told the driver to fill it out for them). I called the hotel to speak to the manager, who was rude to me and refused to reimburse me the difference. She was reluctant, but gave me the number of the owner. After several attempts to contact him, he finally called me back and also refused to reimburse me. I wasn't even asking to be reimbursed the entire amount, just the difference of $40 and he still refused saying that it isn't the hotel's responsibility to fill out the shipping method and if I wanted it shipped that way, I should have called Fed Ex myself and arranged it, then hung up on me! I can't believe that a business is willing to lose customers over $40, but my family and friends will NEVER stay at a Country Inn & Suites again!

Hotel decor is inviting. The room was exceptionally clean and quiet. Very relaxing stay. Full breakfast bar - something for everyone. I would go back and highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed for 4 nights. The hotel staff is very friendly. Rooms are clean and the best part is that it doesn't smell. No moldy bathroom, everything clean and new. I have my doubts when I was booking since there were people complaining about the noise from the trucks etc. I did not hear anything from my room, I had a good sleep the 4 nights I stayed there. The free wi-fi is really fast!, and I was on the 3rd floor.The breakfast was fresh and hot. They even have complimentary fresh cookies on the lobby (my wife loved those...me too) . Flat screen TV with cable, a little office fridge and a microwave. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to tampa.

The rooms where neat and clean. Breakfast was hot, fresh and different everyday. The Staff is very friendly. No noise from the road. Location is great, just seconds from the #4 main road. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is good if you need to just stop and stay somewhere for the night when you need a break from the road because it's right off the highway. Everything else is average about this hotel. Nothing bad, but nothing special. And there aren't any quality restaurants or shopping malls near this hotel. The Front Desk staff were awesome and their Otis Spunkmeyer cookies were always fresh!

Everything was great the only problem was the smell and the dogs barking in other rooms.

From check in to check out everything was perfect. I will never use another hotel. The staff was accomodating and friendly. We are already looking forward to another getaway to Atlanta for a few days. What motel? Well the Carlson of course!!!
