Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ST. PETERSBURG NORTH (I-275)

The hotel is clean and its location is a midpoint between tampa and clearwater. We like to cut commute as much as we can and the price here is reasonable and even includes free breakfast.

I was very pleased with its' cleanliness and the people at the front desk, whom went out of their way to please you and there was one in particular! I believe his name was Jonas? Something to that?! Anyway he helped me in any way that he could on the Day Shift! And really cared! it was obvious that HE had worked somewhere else before and had some experience! Kind, gentle, and vey complimentary! Had everything it took to be a Manager or more......... He DID say that he worked at the Hilton before and a few other hotels? Sorry but cannot rememeber his name? Not at this moment! But, the hotel refused, maid) to give out any washcloths, which IS a very simple thing! She acted as if I was going to steal them but I do need a lot being a female, plus! Denied me, hispanic in origin, about three times! Than, water pressure IS a large problem there and one reason that I would NOT return. The showerheads ARE VERY OLD! Older than I am! There was not enough waterpressure for me to get the shmapoo out of my hair without a LONG delay! To me, that is unexcusable! Old water or shower heads no one can fix unless they are replaced! Ridiculous! If it had not been for "Josh" (!) (yep that is his name), I would have left that hotel due to the water pressure! Cheap if you or one cannot replace! Very BAD! but Kosh was so nice that I DID stay, and HE, and only he made the trip a sucess! Will NOT return if water pressure is not replaced or showerheads BUT, JOSH was a gentleman and went out of his way to HELP me, directions, gasoline, cellphone, etc, and it all goes on! Excellent employee and deserves a raise as the other were not quite maybe as "expereinced"? He is an ASSET to your chain and deserves a raise! Has the personality that makes one want to keep going back to THAT particular hotel! And it WAS clean! I loved that! Walls are thin and stayed though, awake, as couple next door KEPT fighting and the other was snoring??!! No insullation??!! Sad there also! Needs improvements to become a Hotel I would stay again, EXCEPT that "Josh" does WORK there! And that would be the only reason I know that I would return there, other than the cleaning! And neatness! It was superb! Absolutely! Showerheads and insulation needed most of all! Ridiculous in this day and time NOT to have it covered! Sincerely, Kathleen Wilkinson Virginia

Hotel was clean and comfortable.. Rooms were great, and well laid out... Staff was very courteous and informative, and allowed me to switch rooms with no problems due to a small mechanical problem. Even though the hotel location was great, and was only a few miles from the ballpark, the free shuttle to / from the game was offered by the hotel and well worth the effort.. Definitely worth the value.!!!

My partner and I needed a place near to my stepmother's home, and we wanted a clean and comfortable room. This one did not disappoint. There were options of firm or soft bed pillows, a continental breakfast, and a 24-hour fitness room (which we used). The service was excellent; we were always greeted by a friendly desk clerk when we entered the main door.

the hotel is nice and the staff is great with the exception of a night desk girl she just had a baby,and is not very nice nor will smile(all i will say but theres more) the breakfast is great rooms are ok,maid made me leave so she could clean,i dont understand that i didnt want to leave i just drove 16 hours,and i know economy is bad but there prices are going up and pool has NOT been heated as it says,the Holiday inn down the road is very nice and 20 to 30$ cheaper,if the front desk gal was nice and the maid didnt make me leave my room id come back for the 3rd time im here 2days month maybe i will try one more time or not check in when she is working ,

the hotel was very clean, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly....and the continental breakfast buffet was great....I would stay there again and would recommend it to others....l

Place was comfortable . Good breakfast. Had to make two trips to front dest because remote batteries were dead in TV remote. Had to have an attendant come yup to reset A?C breakers. Worked well after that

The hotel was very clean and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were quite good most morning. I found the room comfortable and the bed and bedding excellent. The TV is outdated but worked fairly good. Pool is small but serves the purpose for a dip.

The service at this location was excellent. The servicemen were energetic, positive, and extremely helpful. I would definitely return if given the opportunity. I booked this hotel for one day due to an interview. My only dislike was the smell of the room initially, which may have been the result of poor circulation.
