Outrigger Reef's recent $110-million renovations are reflected throughout the beachfront property in island-style décor, architecture and amenities. Outrigger Reef on the Beach Rooms
- Moderate
- The Moderate rooms have no view and all rooms do not have lanais. These rooms are 340 sq. ft. Each room has a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, mini-refrigerator, & coffee maker. The bedding is on a request basis only and is as follows: One king bed, or two double beds.
- Ocean Front
- Oceanfront rooms feature one king or two double beds with one double sleeper sofa. Roooms are 405 sq.ft.
- Ocean View
- The Ocean View room has a beautiful view of the ocean. These rooms are 340 sq. ft. The bedding is on a request basis only and is as follows: One king bed, or two double beds. Each room has hair dryers, iron and ironing board, mini-refrigerator, coffee maker and lanai.
- One Bedroom Ocean Front
- One bedroom Ocean Front rooms have one king bed, and one sofa sleeper. Rooms are 1008 sq. ft, and have two bathrooms, jacuzzi tub and shower.
- Partial Ocean View
- Partial Ocean View rooms have one king bed, or two doubles with one sofa sleeper. Rooms are 355 sq.ft.
- City View
- The City View room has a spectacular view of the city or low pool view from the lanai. These rooms are 350 sq. ft. Each room has a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, mini-refrigerator, coffee maker and lanai. The bedding is on a request basis only and is as follows: One king bed, or two double beds.

Even survived the tsunami
Overall, we had a great time. On the downside, when we inquired about things to do, tours, etc., the hotel referred us to an "outsider" tour desk company located in the lobby. If you didn't buy their tour they would offer very little, if any, information. The information they did offer was to discourage you from doing anything but their tour. They told us that we would never get into Pearl Harbor by doing it ourselves. We still went by ourselves and there were no lines, no waits as they said there would surely be. Disappointed that the hotel's business center required you to purchase internet time on the computers which really didn't work too well when trying to check in with the airlines. They did an outstanding job with the warning for the tsunami and handled the task very well. Great location. We would go their again.

Outrigger Reef was the best!
Loved this remodeled hotel, ate at all 3 restaurants (the Ocean Room was by far the best and amazing). The staff was first class and the remodeled rooms were simply great!

Eat at the Ocean House in the hotel for dinner and breakfast. Amazing dinner and a very reasonable breakfast as well that was certainly worth trying as well.

Loved our vacation
Our room was upgraded upon arrival without asking. Very clean. Loved being right on the beach. Staff was helpful. Would stay here again.

Best Value in Oahu!
Traveling with my daughter for her 16th birthday and wow, this hotel had everything. Our room was huge...with two balconies, one with ocean view, one with city view and the housekeeping staff was awesome. We were steps from the beach and all the shopping we could ever want. Food at Shorebird restaurant was great and the Starbucks was great for our morning coffee. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Try the parasailing! We were able to do that tandem for $64, plus for an additional $20, the ships captain took pictures of us (48 photos) and gave us the digital chip so we could do with it what we wanted. A great deal and they picked us up and returned us to the hotel. What a great day!

fantastic eperience
the hotel is beatiful, the staff friendly and corteous. WE had my son wedding reception in there and it was perfect. Iam a world traveler,my experience with outrigger was one of my best.

Wonderful Stay
We really enjoyed the beautifully decorated, spa-like rooms that were immaculately clean. Gardens & walkways a true tropical experience. Restaurant required customers to cook their own main course. Who thought that would be a good idea to make the guests prepare their own food? Not the kind of restaurant I would expect in a wonderful hotel like this.

Fun Hawaii Vacation
Great location. Right on the beach. Did the Wedding vow renewal, which was a beautiful experience and a nice feature that the hotel provides. All the staff was very nice also.

Hawaiian Girl Prototype
Brillant Choice!
We were so excited about our choice of hotel when we arrived at the Outrigger Reef. The location was beautiful and the staff were so nice. We were bumped off of our flight so we had to check in a day later. They had no problem moving our check in and check out dates. We were initially booked for a oceanview room but we were upgraded to an oceanfront room. The view was spectacular. It really almost made you want to stay in the room the entire time. The hotel provided vouchers for breakfast and it was delicious each day. The hotel is in a great location that is right on the beach and near some of the best shopping centers. I am so thankful that all turned out well with this hotel. When we get back to Honolulu, we will definitely be returning to The Outrigger Reef!
