Nice place to stay
The accommodations were great. The suite allowed for comfortable sleep for my wife while I stayed awake.

Road trip pit stop
I only stayed here just to sleep during a long road trip so can't really review the hotels amenities. However, I only gave the hotel 3 stars. Though the bed was extremely comfortable, there was lots of clunking and fan noises from what I can only guess was a furnace or hvac unit. This made it very difficult for me to sleep. If I wasn't so exhausted I probably wouldn't have gotten any sleep at all. The staff, though I interacted with them very little, seemed polite and knew what they were doing. Parking was a bear as well. I ended up in the boonies of their parking lot, squeezing between a truck and a trailer. Apparently no one in the state knows how to park properly. This however is not the hotels fault. It's its customers. As I said before. The only + I observed was how comfortable the bed was. The hotel was also ridiculously easy to get to.

Successful business trip
I needed a quiet place to stay while working in the area. This hotel proved to be a great location and had the room space for me to complete my work without being challenged for work area. I will stay here the next time I am in the area!

Deposit charged after check-out
We stayed at the Country Inn & Suites in Champaign IL (Champaign North) on the night of September 7. The room was paid in full and we left on September 8. On September 9, a charge of $20 was debited to my credit card. When we called, we were told this was a "deposit" that would be refunded in 5 to 7 days. I contacted corporate and they said all their motels debit $20 to $100 for incidentals and that I had agreed to this when I signed in. In fact, this has never happened to me at any CI&S before, but I take them at their word that all their motels do it. It is obvious that they are not charging for incidentals (which hardly exist at Champaign North) if they debit the credit card after the guest has checked out. It is now 11 days since I checked out and my money has still not been returned.

Adequate
Everything was clean enough, but looking run down. Chipped paint, stained furniture, missing hair dryer, molding on closet falling off, etc. Could use a face lift.
