Quality Inn & Suites Champaign

I had to book last minute so I blame myself. I paid average of $89 a night...which turned out my first night was well over $100. I expected better for the rate. I got a smoking room because upon arrival all non-smoking rooms were occupied. Gross smell from that. The window was open when I entered room, and there is no lock on the window at all! The door to the room seemed very flimsy and didn't shut well without a giant shove. It looks like the door was pried open on more than one occasion. The remote was melted on one side and half the outlets didn't work. It was very cold in the room when I arrived (that whole open window thing plus they had the A/C cranked) I attempted to warm up the room with the heater...bad mistake, it smelled like a it was burning. Stains allll over the carpet too. Wasn't inviting me to remove my socks. The positives: staff was very friendly, microwave and fridge in room, nice pillows. Free wireless that worked well. If I had been paying a pure $89 a night I wouldn't have felt ripped off, but well over $100 for my first night with the low quality just doesn't sit well with me. I've made reservations at a different hotel for my second night. I'm willing to eat the cost to not be drenched in smoke smell and feel like I'm safe.

Nice, clean, comfortable place to rest your weary bones. Easy off/on the highway, modestly priced, good breakfast (incl sausage patties), and it was nice to sit in the jacuzzi for a while (open until midnight) after four hours sitting in the car.

It was cheap and that's what we were looking for. The hotel room was missing a trashcan but that certainly wasn't the end of the world. The girl that checked us in was great, the man that checked us out could have been a little friendlier. The breakfast wasn't the greatest, but it was free.

Hall smelled of smoke. they were redoing the HOT breakfast, had rolls. Outside door stuck open. Ok for the money.

We ahd a family reunion in town at one of the parks. Most of the family stayed at a much higher priced hotel. They had one issue after the other. We had three families stay at this one and all went very well for us all. It was just as close and less than half the price. When checking in we had to request a refrigerator be brought to our room when it was asked for when we reserved it. It was brought right away. That was the only thing that really went "wrong."

Put bluntly, the hotel is acceptable for a one night stay if you don't want to spend more than $75 on your hotel. It isn't perfect [3 hand towels not clean, 4th was], but it will work for a night.

This hotel was nice for what we needed. We had a wedding and needed to be there for rehearsal dinner and wedding. The room was clean...nothing fancy but we got a good rate and only needed to be there one night. The bed was comfy, so were the pillows...had a nice full length mirror..my only compliant was that the halls smelled slightly like smoke which I'm very allergic too..so my allergies were a tad bit worse than usual but it was not so bad that I had to use my inhaler or leave. The location is great..really close to mall..interstate..some food places near by..room service was available thru a third party company...orders had to be $15 or higher.

Our room was very clean and comfortable but the parking lot was to small for the amount of travelers and the people at the front desk were unwilling to help even though some of the cars belonged to workers who were off duty but were only visiting each other in the parking lot.

Clean and spacious room. Noisy hallways without good sound insulation. Good value for the price for a short stay. Entry, breakfast area, and lobby are small and cramped.

A friend and I traveled to Champaign, Illinois to review a boat for sale in that area. We checked in late with a confirmed reservation and were pleased with the smooth checkin process. Our room was clean and spacious. We had a quiet night and slept well. We had a cup of coffee in our room as we got dressed and then went to take part in the Continental breakfast. We were surprized by the magnitude of breakfeast food available. Even freshly prepared waffles and hot syrup were available. Breakfast was filling and most pleasant. It was a nice stay over and we were pleased as we left.
