perfect position
This hotel is in the perfect spot for exploring Chicago. It is very close to all the places you would want to walk to as well as being very close to the El train and the buses. The position is stunning, facing some magnificent architecture beside the river. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel facilities were very good - we particularly liked the lounge where you could get coffee at any time as well as the facility downstairs to print off your boarding cards. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only slight criticism was one of the members of staff in the restaurant Bachinos which shared the site, was quite surly. Otherwise our stay was excellent.

Great place, great price
Came here for a last minute weekend getaway. Loved it! It's close to everything we wanted to do - shopping, good restaurants, museums. The beds aren't too comfortable and the single rooms are pretty small, but the price is right - especially if you're planning on staying busy in the city during your visit.

Great place to be in the heart of everything
My wife and I stayed there for a Friday night and when I had booked the room I had a confirmation for a queen size bed. When I got to the room I found out it was two twins. I called down to the front desk and before I even got off the elevator they had my next room set up. Minor inconvenience but they handled it fine. Nice touch with having a spring water system with bottles on the floors. Very European style hotel-They maximize the space given with the room. I would recommend this to a weekend traveler who would be spending more time in the city than in the room. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Nice value considering the location is prime-Right by South Michigan Ave, State Street, el lines and tons of cabs, restaurants etc.

A good hotel in a good location
This hotel is close to everything! Close to major attractions and means of transportation, with a view to the river. Clean rooms, great service, polite staff. I liked the idea of the lounge, where you can sit, watch something on TV and have a cup of complimentary coffee, tea or water.

Average Hotel
The location was pretty good and even the tiny room size (about 250 square feet) didn't bother me, more so the location of the actual room. We were on the fourth floor and looking at the back of a dirty building. What was mostly irritating is that the second we checked in they automatically made it seem like we weren't as "special" because we weren't spending as much as some customers and it seemed as if she was purposely putting us in not-great room because she basically said we need to upgrading within the first minute of us being there. Overall, it was fine, but won't be going back.

Great hotel for the price
Room was very small and can get crowded especially if you have a significant other with a ton of clothes/toiletries. Bed was comfortable. Shower was small. Overall look was modern and updated. But if you're there to enjoy the city, then really the hotel room becomes a place to sleep and get ready for the day/night. And the location is great!

Great location for city weekend
Location is central to the sights and shopping that Chicago has to offer. My wife and I were able to walk to Michigan Ave (1 block away), Navy Pier via the river walk (25 min), Millennium Park (15 min), Art Institute (25 min), and the museum campus with the Field Museum (50 min). Next door is a nice breakfast location. Hotel meet our needs as we only used it for a place to sleep.

1st Time Visit to Chicago
Perfect Location, Beautiful View
The location of this hotel was within walking distance of everything a "tourist" would want to see -Great downtown vibe, the Chicago River steps away from the front door, and friendly staff. The only complaint would be the bed, which wasn't as comfortable as what one would expect, and there wasn't much shower pressure - but theses are minor things compared to the overall wonderful experience of a long weekend in the city. We would stay here again.
