Sonesta Schaumburg ES Suites Chicago

My family stayed the hotel for a single day, but it was good. I will definitely stay this hotel next time.

It was a nice clean room that was like an apartment. It was cozy and well furnished. Staff was great. Just the furniture was a little worn and could tell the place had been around for a while. Overall good experience and will stay there again when Im in that area on business.

Nice hotel for the money! Clean and lots of room! Just needs updates!

I was looking for a hotel near Woodfield Mall & Lego Discovery Center. This was mere blocks away, and it offered almost everything the family needed for our brief stay. Our suite had 2 separate bedrooms, each with a queen bed. The living room had a fold out sofa. Plenty of sleeping places for our larger family. Continental breakfast had a little of everything, so everyone filled up. Got the deal for just under $100 also. Breakfast itself would have cost at least $40!

Very nicely furnished. Great apt atmosphere. The staff was nice, the breakfast kinda sucked, but with a nice kitchen in your room who needs their breakfast.

This hotel is showing it's age. Rust on the stairs handles, bathroom door was warped and wouldn't close, issues with some of the doors not accepting our key, only had 2 towels even though we had 5 registered, paint chips, counters had burn marks. Breakfast host was not friendly at all. Food was flat, eggs look like yesterdays left overs, all hot food was luke warm. I guess we got what we paid for. As I left I mentioned this to the hotel staff and the response was, yes we know it is going to be updated in the next year or so. Not good customer service.

I stayed due to home repairs on a house I purchased and the staff was friendly and accommodating. It is quiet and I like the way the hotel is like your own apartment.

This hotel was probably very nice when it was new. It is badly in need of remodeling. Lots of burn marks on counter tops, carpet was dirty, the outside door had many dents. The furniture also needs updating. The location was excellent but the interior is not what we expected. Very old!

Don't stay here! The room was not clean, the door was broken. When I told the staff about the food left on the carpet they told me I wouldn't be charged for it! Seriously? I wouldn't be charged for the previous occupant's filth? Never again.

I have never stayed in a Sonesta before and thought I would take a chance. I have to say the experience was great for a 4 star hotel. I loved the Apartment concept and plan on returning when I go back to Schaumburg. Location was great, breakfast exceeded my expectation, Clean room , comfortable bed. I would highly recommend for the price.
