The Super 8 Waukegan provides the best value in town by offering clean, quiet rooms, at a very reasonable rate, and friendly staff. super 8--very disappointed

bath tub dirty matress was like sleeping in a boat, it was so old soft and wobbly TV seemed to be 20-30 years old the performance was almost like watching a hazy black and white TV

So so

When I called to ask about a shuttle from the airport before I booked my room, the staff said that "yes" they had one and it could pick me up by request. But when I got to the airport and called for a ride, they told me that the shuttle was not available after all. I ended up having to rent a car and it was very expensive. Also, the advertisement pictures were very misleading online. Other than that I have no major complaints. The room was very cheap and very basic. The staff was moderately helpful. I don't think I would stay here again.

If you have a chance, definitely go to the Lake Michigan beach, it's beautiful, even in the winter.

Close to Navy Training Camp.

You get what you pay for

I needed a place to stay for a few nights that was close to the Navy Recruit Center because i was going for a Bootcamp graduation. It was extremely inexpensive for 3 nights, at under $150, but it was honestly the smallest room. Didn't have a closet, seemed very worn in, but it is what i expected. It was a cheap quiet stay, for a quick visit.

Great Naval Graduation Trip!!

Despite all the negative reviews that I read on this hotel, I really enjoyed my stay. It was nothing like the reviews that I read. It was quite, clean and the staff was great and very helpful. I would stay there again if I need to return to Waukegan, IL.

good family getaway

I COULD NOT STAY THERE UNDER SUCH DEPLORABLE CONDITIONS,CHECKED RIGHT OUT, ASK FOR A REFUND,DROVE BACK TO DETROIT,MISSED KIDS LAST GAME WHERE HUNDERDS OF COLLEGE BASKETBALL COACHES SCOUTING MY DAUGHTER,(TOP 50 IN THE COUNTRY)WERE IN ATTENDANCE.....

Nightmare

Room was so nasty that we would have walked around the room without our shoe on. We did not stay. We went to see my oldest son graduate from the Navy! Was a very important trip and that made it awful we called and cancelled the reservation after seeing our daughter in laws room.
