Great Location
This hotel was in a great location - we could walk to everything. Downtown Crossing for shopping was right around the corner. Fanueil Hall was 5-7 minutes away and the Theatre District was 10 minute walk in the opposite direction. We did it all! And we parked at the commons for 24 hours for $22.00 - it was just a short walk to the hotel.

Unbeatable location for the price
This was our first trip to Boston, so the location of the hotel was perfect -- walking distance to almost everything. We saw all the main attractions and went to some wonderful restaurants. The staff was terrific, especially the concierge, [...]. The food in the restuarant was great, and we also really enjoyed the bar -- great fun.Our only complaint would be that the room was very small, esecially the bathroom.

Boston
Great location to sites and the T. Superb staff, food, and service in hotel and housekeeping. We were assigned a very tiny room/bathroom due to the discount rate. A bit noisy from road maintenance on some days and no "view"/office windows right across so needed to keep our blind most of the time when in room closed for privacy. Luckily, we weren't in the room much - out seeing the sites! Dining a bit pricey in hotel, but that's expected - other options for quick breakfasts etc. within walking distance.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
Use the T (Mass Transit) - get a 7 day pass and get comfortable with the routes and riding. Convenient and better than driving and paying/finding parking. Can be a bit creepy at times if you're not used to doing this, but it's generally safe and clean. We still were able to rent a car and go outside of Boston for a day trip or two.

Perfect Location and beautiful building!
The location could not be any better. Just bring your walking shoes and experience everything Boston has to offer. The hotel was better than expected. The building is beautiful and has so much character. Incredible woodcrafting made this hotel as much of a tour stop as the rest of the city.

amazed at the richness of the decor.
The location was perfect for everything we wanted to see and do in Boston. It was close to many restaurants as well. The hotel staff was very polite and helpful. The food at the Parker restaurant was excellent. The Last Hurrah was not serving food, only cocktails, and we didn't know why?

Very nice!
Great location near Boston Common, Boston Public Garden, Freedom Trail, and Beacon Hill. Walking distance to numerous restaurants and shops. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Room was nice and clean. The room was not very big and the layout a bit odd, but considering I was in the room to sleep, shower and change my clothes, it was not a problem. I would definitely stay at this hotel should I return to Boston.

Get a Go Boston pass! For one price it gets you into all the big attractions and a 2-day pass on the Beantown Trolley. The card more than paid for itself and made getting into museums easy.
