convenient, comfortable, friendly

Hotel staff was always helpful. The printed instructions for travel to city attractions were great....even included the way back to the hotel. With these guides, we had no trouble using the Silverline and the T. For $2.00 each way, travel to anywhere in the city was fast and efficient. We never needed a cab. Try the clam chodda' and the bread pudding in the hotel restaurant.....GREAT!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

From Boston Commons, don't miss the Northern Italian area...colorful, fun, and vibrant. We really enjoyed the market held on Thursday and Friday. Mike's Bakery is a must!!!!! We had dinner at Lemoncello and loved the ambience, excellent house wine, and perfect veal dishes.

weekend relaxation

I had booked the hotel assuming it would be close to all the tourist attractions but it wasn't. But the location of the hotel itself is great if you are looking for some quiet time. The parking next to the hotel too is perfect!!! You don't have to drive around over and over just to find a parking spot. So, after checking in we had to walk only approx. 1 to 3 miles to Faneuil Hall; that was a great walk.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

If you want to experience most of the tourist attractions it would be located at Faneuil Hall which is a short drive but impossible to find any parking so I suggest to just walk or take a cab.

I expect better security service

I am not surprised that a drunk would try to get into my room at 3 AM, repeatedly trying the lock and banging on the door. I am agast that it took 14 minutes from my call to the desk to get someone from security to respond.

Everything at the Hotel was great. The people were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very expensive though. The cost of 2 people for breakfast exceeded $50 with tip (no alcohol).

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

The T, which is Boston's main mass transit system is directly across the street from the Hotel. This Hotel was the last stop out of Boston to go to Logan Airport, which was nice.

Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel

Very nice hotel and I would recoment it. I marked it as a bad location be it really is not so bad. It is not too far from the main attractions of Boston and it is only a subway ride away. There is an open parking lot acroos the street from the hotel which charges $5 per day with a credit card but from what I was told you can not leave it overnight although I did see cars there overnight. Otherwise, self park in a garage is $30
