pricey but nice

We stayed one night at the Westin because we were in town for a concert at Bank of America Pavillion. The location was great, 5 minute walk to the venue. Parking at the hotel was a little ridiculous- 35 bucks to park it yourself and 45 for valet. There is no breakfast in the morning either. However, the room was very nice and it was awesome that the pool stayed open until midnight. The staff was super friendly. Overall a nice hotel but for the price it would have been better if parking was free and there was breakfast.

The Westin Boston Waterfront

Hotel was very close to the airport only about a 5-10 min drive. when i arrived at the hotel it had a very modern and spacious lobby. the room was very clean and comfortable with a great King size bed and a spacious bathroom. the hotel was walking distant from Harborside on the Charles river. The walk was very safe and leisurely only about 5min to a large varity of great resturants and night light. I had drinks on the roof top of the new Harborside Legal Seafood restuarant. the view was spectacular the rest was a buzz with lots of beautiful intresting people. i had a great dinner and finished the night at the bar at another great spot on the water. there was plenty to do for everyone.

Location

The hotel was very nice and the staff helpful but the location and its distance to key boston attractions is less than desireable given the price.

Good Stay

Other than the location, which is rather far to walk to because it is located away from everything on the Boston waterfront, the hotel itself and the value was very good. Be sure to request a room with a city view.

very friendly and attractive

The Boston Westin Waterfront hotel is very new, comfortable, convient and most of all the staff is very friendly and helpful in every way. I felt right at home. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the large screen LCD TV in the room and in-room Starbucks coffee! I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Boston.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

Every major attraction can be reach very conveniently. Mass transit is close by and cabs are plentiful at the front door. Waiting to go somewhere is not a problem.

Great location between Logan and the T.

The room size was very adequate and the view of the Harbor was an added treat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I feel like I would have enjoyed a coffee shop/cafe, as I would like to have been able to grab something light and quick as I was on a tight schedule. I think it would be a great addition. We looked at the pool/exercise room, but didn't have time to use it. The desk/table for the laptop was a great idea. The room was definitely large enough to enjoy and spread out without crowding anyone. The suitcase stands were of great use. All in all the stay was very enjoyable.

Comfortable hotel

The Westin Boston Waterfront is a new facility. It's very clean and the staff was very helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and our room had a nice view of the water. The bathroom was great- lots of counter space and TERRIFIC shower. The location is somewhat isolated- no restaurants close, but very close to convention and World Trade centers. Probably best for business travelers. The MTA is close by and transportation to and from the airport is great.
