Excellance

The Hotel was much more than I had expected - the staff was very helpful - even loaning us umbrella's during our stay - I couldn't have asked for a nicer hotel or staff. As for the beds they were so comfortable you almost didn't want to get up in the morning. Best hotel stay I've had in years

check in on time

You gotta check it on time: when you get there earlier, you'll not able to check in because rooms are not ready then.

Overall Nice Stay

The location was great. Just across the river from downtown Boston, near Harvard, and directly next to Cambridge restaurants. Public transportation (metro) is directly across the street and easy to get around. The hotel room was clean and the gym was okay. I did think the hotel is a bit overpriced, but it's a nice place to stay if you can get a good deal.

Trip to Cambridge in July

I enjoyed my stay at the Boston Marriott in Cambridge. The hotel was clean and the people were helpful. I was in Boston on vacation and the concierge was helpful in making suggestions on places to see. I have been to Boston many times, so it was good that she had a many resources. The room was clean and had all of the amenities that were needed--WiFi, coffee/tea, nice soaps and lotions, plenty of hangers. Although I did not eat in the hotel restaurants, there were several to choose from as well as some in the neighborhood. There is a T stop right in front of the hotel. It is very easy to get from the airport to the hotel. All in all, it was a wonderful stay.

Excellent Stay

The hotel was cleaned. The conceirge was excellent. He knows his stuff. I asked him everywhere I go. The valet parking attendant knows the direction too. They are so helpful everytime they bring your car up. Worth the paying as it is so convenienent. We mentioned to the hotel that our bags will be delivered by the airline, and the stuff gave us complimentarty toiletries to start us off. Overall, very pleasant to stay at this hotel!

Cambridge - not close enough to the city

The Starbucks in the lobby was great!! There are several T stops around the hotel...including one right outside of the back door!!! The only downside was the location, if you are going to Boston you should stay closer to the city.
