For an overnight visitor to the youngtown Inn, the world is suddenly transformed to a fairytale setting. A classic 1810 federal style farmhouse offers six comfortable and tastefully decorated guest rooms and a highly acclaimed french restaurant that offers elegant dining in gracious surroundings. specialities include lobster ravioli, rack of lamb and grand marnier souffles. Owner and chef Manuel Mercier draws upon his french heritage to offer traditional French and New England fare. The coast of Maine provides for a bounty of fresh and local produce and seafood. The Inn is in a perfect location to explore the coast of Maine. Located half way between Portland and Bar Harbor making it an ideal location for day trips. The Inn is perfect for a romantic getaway for two or can host weddings, rehearsal dinners or business retreats.

very comfortable.

The Youngtown Inn is very comfortable as well as beautiful. Special touches such as homemade macoroons and choc chip cookies welcomed us. The owner is a chef trained throughout Europe and his cooking was exquisite as well as beautiful enough to be photographeed. Yhe rooms are spacious and comfortable with a french flair! it was a very enjoyable experiance.
