Great girls weekend!

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting the downtown area - beautiful short walk across river takes you into the heart of downtown, great dining, we saw a great concert at Van Andel Arena & then safely walked back across to our quiet hotel area afterwards. Also small bike taxi's will take you all over town! It was a great weekend!

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

Van Andel Arena is a great place to see big acts! Small enough that you have a great seat anywhere; big enough that the large acts still come & put on a great show!

SMOKE FREE

This Hotel recently went through a total renovation. The over all appearance of the property is very nice. The lobby is well decorated and the rooms have all new wall decorations. I was a little let down with the bathroom in the room. The layout is still a little broken up because the sink is in the room and not in the bathroom. Over all this is a nice hotel. That is TOTALLY SMOKE FREE.

close to everything

This was our first visit to Grand Rapids on a trip up to Northern Michigan. It was for just one night, but we were very impressed with the City Center. the Hotel was located close to the river walk, Museums, and the downtown area.

Very Nice Downtown Location

I've stayed here over the last 15 years several times. But it seems to be better now. Cleaner, more up to date, and it is located in a terrific location. I'd stay here any time. And, the food was very good too.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

The Gerald Ford Presidential Museum is across the street. Downtown Grand Rapids is just the other side of the Grand River. Great area to walk around in the evening. Good restaurants and clubs in the immediate area.

Beautifully remodeled hotel with a friendly staff

This Days Inn Grand Rapids is in a perfect location, downtown across the street from the Van Andel Museum. the hotel has recently been remodeled and is very clean. We were unable to stay both nights and had to leave early. The hotel refunded our money for the second night with no questions asked. I have already recommended this hotel to friends.
