Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Rochester

It was a cheap clean room, pretty tiny. No pool, but nice continental breakfast. No fridge or microwave in room either. Overall the staff was nice and the room/motel were nice looking for the money. I would recommend staying here if you are looking to find a cheap room that looks nice. It's also close to a Target and Walmart and several other restaurants.

We have stayed at this MicroTel four times now and it is consistently a great experience. While not fancy, it is clean, well lit, has all the room amenities we need (especially refrigerator and microwave). The staff is welcoming and interested in making our stay the best possible. Highly recommend!

if you want something fancy it's not for you. If functional is what you looking for, it fits the bill.

Room had everything we needed. Location worked great for our mayo visit. Staff was friendly and helpful when we inquired about places to go. Breakfast should be changed up every once and a while instead of having same items each day

Staff was friendly. Room was clean, quiet. Breakfast was good. I would stay again.

Friends of ours who had to travel to Rochester for the Mayo Clinic stayed at this hotel and recommended it for an extended stay due to the reasonable price and cleanliness. Our experience was this: Upon entering the hotel, the clerk greeted us warmly and after we stated a few things we would like the room to have, she graciously accommodated us. We noticed some guests drinking complimentary coffee and socializing in an area near the entryway which is also where the continental breakfast is served from 5:30 - 9:30 am. We learned that there is a frequent shuttle service to the Mayo buildings which I did use quite easily. Our room was on the second floor and although small, which explains the micro in hotel, was updated nicely, and had everything we needed. Plenty of room in the bathroom also. My main complaint would be the cold near the windows, which made it impossible to sit at the only area with a built-in seat. Otherwise, not that big a deal when you think of the great value and the safe feel. One would think for this price you would have an old room lacking in some care, but not so here.

Thia was our second visit. The first was 10 days. this visit was two days, both to visit my strep father in the hospital. The hotel is a short drive to St. mary's hospital and the Mayo clinic. Lots of restaurants and a well stacked convenience store within walking distance. The gym is adequate. No pool. The suites are well equipped with a micro-wave, refrigerator and coffee pot.. No utensils in room, but they might be avaialble at desk. Wi-fi is free and works well. Newspaper is free at desk. Breakfast - all carobohydrates except for yogurt- is also free. ome hard boiled eggs would have been nice. Staff was very friendly. Common room always seemed to have socialable guests. Price is somewhat less expensive than similiar places. The king bed suite is nicer than the two bed suites, but both are fine. Laundry machines are available. We will use the hotel again.

Room is small, as expected (not big enough for more than 2 ppl) but not staying in room often as always at Mayo. Room was clean. Best thing is location, easy access to Mayo and near shopping center for snacks/items you forgot. Continental breakfast was waffles, yogurt, pastries... pretty decent. AND coffee available at all hours of the day. microwave in lobby if you need it. In-room TV had HBO and free wireless, local calls. free shuttle to Mayo. Would stay here again.
