Country Hearth Inn Sikeston

Very nice. Enjoyed our stay. Very relaxed atmosphere.

The pillows were extremely lumpy. The shower doors were so coated in thick soap scum you couldn't see in or out of the shower. The front desk staff was slightly rude. Don't know how often the floors are shampooed because my granddaughter who stopped by long enough for short nap ran around barefoot & her feet were black after about 20 minutes. Even the towels looked dirty. The upside to this hotel is that it sits right off the interstate, is beside McDonald's & Burger King, and is right next to an outlet mall. I can't say anything more than that that is good about this hotel. I give it a C- for a grade.

The hotel refused to honor our reservation because there was a rush on hotels that night and they were price gouging. The person at the desk told us that the reservation meant nothing and then tried to raise the rate even though we had our confirmation [...] in our hands. The desk attendant was extremely rude and yelled at us repeatedly. We did not stay there and went across the street to the Comfort Inn. I cannot stress enough: Do Not Stay Here!

very unfriendly [*] all i wanted was clean towels with no stains on them that was a problem for the staff not inclunding one member of mgmt who was congenial to my needs a enough for two guests two towels apeace please,wont come back was put by a loud closing door and right beside some really bad curry smells i thing the family stayed next door to me tHAT OWNED IT,THE PLACE STUNK,SECURITY DOOR DIDNT LOCK,SHEETS DIRTY BEDSPREAD SMELLED BAD

Got in late. Staff was OK - not exactly friendly but not unfriendly either. Couldn't find reservation but had rooms. Local rate was cheaper than what I booked. Clean, basic room. Met my needs for sleep.

we were put in a room in the middle of owners living area. We had one cup for coffee & 1 packet of coffee. There was 2 adults in room. When we went down for coffee at 7:00am there was none available, and no juice or milk. Never saw fresh cookies. THe soap packets were in pieces. No shampoo, and towels were horribly thin, bathmat both days had big holes. The room was clean. Also only 1 small suitcase folding platform.

We called ahead and arrived after hours. The manager was rude and unaccomadating. The room was clean, the television was great, and I was able to get on line with no charge. It was great having a refrigerator in the room at no extra charge. However the continental breakfast left a LOT to be desired. This was a holiday and I know they could have done a lot better with the food and the choices. I would stay there again with no problem, but I would probably try somewhere else first.
