Quick Business Trip
I stayed at the Omni Majestic for one night on a quick business trip. The location was fantastic, within walking distance from local restaurants and the Arch. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend the Omni for anyone looking for a boutique hotel in downtown St. Louis.

Weekend Getaway
The room was very cozy. The bathroom was small, and the shower pressure was a little weak. The noise level was excellent; no children around made it more enjoyable. Overall, the staff was very friendly and they had a shuttle available for OMNI guests. The location was great for walking around downtown.

Great place to stay, but beware the parking charge.
Everything was great. The staffwas wonderful. But the parking is $25 a night. It would be nice if that was communicated. It added another $100 to my stay.

FUN TIMES IN ST. LOUIS
We visited St. Louis for 3 nights for my husband's birthday. We had a ton of things planned but had car trouble once we got there. The staff provided complimentary transportation to places in the general vicinity however we were able to walk to most places with no problems. There are a ton of restaurants nearby & the hotel's Mahogany Grill was nice for coffee & juice each morning. The breakfast buffet was limited for me since I don't eat pork and my husband doesn't eat eggs. If you're ok with both then the buffet should be a good resource for you if you don't want to go far. The staff were far nicer and more accommodating than any hotel at which I've stayed in the past few years and will be the primary reason for me returning again and again!!!

No Bang for the buck.
Overall it was an average overpriced hotel. The staff were great. The prices are way too inflated. Parking for 25$ a day!? Right on the streeet, after seven street parking is free till 7am. Of course there is no complimentary breakfast9$ buffet style. Food overpriced but good. No microwave or fridge in the room. The TV was a 19' box. No flat screens and no DVD player! My room overlooked the parking garages. But if you want to be a big spender for nothing then this is it! There were other hotels with better views in the same area!!

Great Location, Good Value
Nice place, Friendly People, Good Price. Historic property with charm, albeit it a bit faded and neglected. Rooms decent size, TV's are old, channel selection is slim. Comfortable beds. A bit noisy. Bathrooms are getting dated. Avoid room service, poor quality, selection and price (walk a block down to the culinaria). The bar is a good value. Parking is costly and it is valet only. The location is really good, close to main roads and freeways in a safe section of downtown. Walk to City Garden Sculpture Park, 1 block over and walk through parks all the way down to the Arch and Riverfront, great way to enjoy your morning coffee and pastry from the Culinaria Grocer and Deli. I enjoyed my stay, if it had been anymore expensive I would have been disappointed... It is not the Finest Chic spot but it is better than the same 'ol.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
The Cullinaria is an upscale market with large deli, build your own salads and sandwiches, hot soups, pastry, coffee bar, only one block from hotel, safe walk.

Nice hotel in downtown St. Louis
Was looking for a nice hotel in downtown St. Louis for one night. Very classy, beautiful lobby and room (victorian style). The only issue was the TV remote didn't work all too well but the staff was very helpful and prompt.

Incredible staff
Stayed two nights for a conference in St. Louis. The staff was more helpful and attentive than I've encountered at hotels double the price. Walking distance to Busch Stadium and downtown was an added bonus. Only complaint was that the wifi connection was weak in my room location. A fellow traveller on another floor and side of the building had no such issues.

Excellent staff and comfortable room
My wife and I decided to spend a few days in St. Louis to celebrate our anniversary and upcoming arrival of our first child. The staff was excellent - very friendly and helpful. The complimentary shuttle (a Lincoln Navigator) was very useful and was available within 30 minutes of requesting it, and was far more than we expected. The room was comfortable with the only possible complaint being that we thought that there would be a flat screen tv but our room had a larger, older tv, with speakers that would squeal a bit depending on who was talking on the tv. However, we spent little time watching tv so this was not anything for us to complain about. Otherwise, we have no complaints regarding the hotel or staff and would definitely stay here again.

Shopping tip:
Long walk from hotel
A tip for those who have not been to St. Louis in awhile (myself) or those who have never been (my wife): Unless you are interested in beautiful architecture, avoid the Union Station because many of the stores once there are gone, the few (and I mean few) that remain are nothing special, and find somewhere else to do your shopping.
