Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Raleigh

When I entered the hotel there was vagrants hanging around the hotel and even came in and sat in the lobby. I was assigned a room on the second floor. When I got off the elevator you could smell the mold throughout the hallway. It gets better. When I entered my room, the smell of mold was terrible. The faucet for the bathroom sink was broken off and the room was extra small. I guess you get what you pay for. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I went here on business. The wifi was great and they also offer free breakfeast,but the thing about that is that u can not take it back to your room.at times it was very loud ppl in the hall late night but other than that a good hotel I guess u get what u pay for!!!

Rooms were very clean and quiet. Had a good stay. If you are looking for a comfortable place at somewhat affordable price, you can stay here. My stay was based on one night so I am not sure if they do cleaning of the rooms everyday as I had to check early next day.

After reading so many negative reviews I was scared to stay at this hotel originally. After staying at the hotel, I can say with confidence it was not the worst hotel I have every stayed in. The room was mostly clean, I did not find anything strange nor did I spot any bedbugs and I really looked hard for them. It is very basic, the beds are quite comfortable, the pillows aren't the greatest though. The water pressure was nice and there was plenty of hot water. I would not be scared to recommend this hotel. There are plenty of good places to eat around it and while the area might not be the best in the world, I did feel safe. If you need a place to stay for a single night, it would probably work fine for that purpose.

Upon booking the room we requested which was supposed to be a suite, when we arrived the room was very small, not enough room to turn around in a circle in. The service at the hotel was poor. The carpet was coming up from the floor creating a hazard where my child could fall. The towels were dingy, there were no complimentary amenities such as soap, shampoo etc. There was ironing board with no iron. We asked to switch rooms or pay the difference to upgrade to the original suite we had requested and we were told that we would have to cancel our reservation and wait five days to allow our money back and let them charge us again! Or we could switch to another room that had double bed still small. There were loud noises coming from the room directly in front of the elevator of which i will not disclose which they were but overall i would not recommend this hotel for elders, families or young children.

I booked this hotel based on outside looks. Will not do that again. The room was very small. It looked liked it had not been remodeld in a very long time. The hot water did not work and when I called to the front desk to get assisntance the excuse was given that they had other guest using water, which made no sense to me at all. I have stayed at bigger hotels and the water was always hot. sad to say that I will never book another room at the Microtel again.

Normal ordinary room. Nice lobby it was ok for a place to crash while passing through

stayed here 2 nights for local softball tournament. room was dated but clean and staff was friendly. would highly recommend.

I only stayed for one Night but it was very comfortable and quite. I sleep like a baby when I went to sleep and they let me do a 1:00 pm check out without charging me
