Dining

Bally's Sterling Brunch
Start your Sunday with an exquisite brunch served in the rarified setting of Bally's Steakhouse.
Indigo Lounge
Featuring live piano music, top-shelf premium liquors, and a refined setting, the Indigo Lounge caters to Bally's guests who enjoy the good life. Rich carpet and a supple seating area mix beautifully with signature cocktails and soothing music to produce a level of opulence that has made Las Vegas famous. Withdrawn from the casino floor, a trip to the Indigo Lounge is an escape to the glamorous gaming days of old.
Bally's Steakhouse
A Las Vegas tradition - Bally's Steakhouse is decorated to resemble a New England-style hunt club. Nationally recognized chefs serve up favorites like slow roasted aged prime rib, bone-in sirloin steak, and Chilean sea bass nightly. And while the portions are generous, make sure to leave room for a signature dessert, as our banana cream pie and mile-high sundaes have allowed guests to leave satisfied for years. The Steakhouse is also the home of the Sterling Brunch - Champagne, Sturgeon caviar, and lobster mingle with freshly prepared sushi, omelets, and beef tenderloin, with tempting desserts and time-appropriate drinks: mimosas, anyone?
Chang's at Bally's
This authentic Asian eatery is among the most traditional Chinese restaurants in all of Nevada! With an expansive menu that features more than fifty (50!) selections from the Far East. Dishes range from Singapore-style pan-fried noodles to sweet and sour pork, and a host of Hong Kong-style desserts, as well as imported Asian wines, beers, and spirits, round out the menu.
Sidewalk Cafe
American favorites are available around-the-clock at this relaxed diner. Stop in for a tuna melt, some sirloin steak, or a simple slice of pie with a fresh cup of coffee.
Java Coast
A stay in Las Vegas is a pick-me-up all its own. Guests who crave a more traditional wake-up call make the Java Coast a first stop before starting their day. Offering all the selections of a traditional coffee house - drips and decafs, lattes and blends - as well as a full line of juices, soft drinks, and fruit smoothies and assorted baked goods, made fresh daily.
Sully's
The open-air feel and additional seating area of Sully's Bar makes this watering hole an ideal meeting spot. Lined with built-in video-gaming machines (with five different modes of play) and overhead video screens, Sully's is an entertaining place to recharge, refresh, and regroup.
Terrace Cafe
Refuel the body after a long day of swimming at this poolside caf that specializes in short-order snacks.
Ichiban Sushi
Introduce yourself to a Japanese tradition by sampling the sushi at our authentic Japanese restaurant. The rotating sushi bar presents selections that gently glide by your chop sticks. Traditional table seating provides access to the sushi menu as well as selections of popular Japanese dishes, including Soba and Udon noodles. Beer and sake have been imported from the Far East to highlight the flavor of each dish and round out your cultural dining experience.
al Dente
Taste the robust flavor of the Old World at this Italian ristorante that blends traditional Sicilian preparation with contemporary, continental flair. Classic dishes such as lasagna, spaghetti Bolognese, and capellini with lobster tails are lightly seasoned to provide a full-bodied flavor and deliver more than a hint of elegance. Perfected Italian desserts and coffees round out the ample menu, and a full range of imported European wines are available to compliment any meal. Buono appetito!

Not a good value for the money

We were told that we would be accomodated and to look for a message on the room's phone by late afternoon. No messages were ever received. We had a problem with the in room refrigerator and found one in the room without us asking for one which was good but, far too many times were we disturbed by people ( cleaning staff0 entering the room at liberty! Sincerely, Gerald E. Tierney

very family friendly

Hotel location and service, and entertainment were excellent. The room was large and comfortable but old. It seemed that there was no rennovation made at least 20 years. Besides, safe and hairdryer in my room didn't work and were replaced.

Ok, but nothing special.

This hotel is showing some wear and tear. There was nothing terribly wrong, but it was nothing special. Simple things like a coffee maker and a comfortable chair were missing from the room. (There were two rather hard small chairs at a small table.) I checked in early, and the desk clerk seemed annoyed with my suggestion that perhaps a room would be ready at that time of day (and the hotel did not seem so full as to make me believe there would be no vacant rooms until late afternoon). The check-in area was dark and gloomy. The hotel is very conveniently located on the Strip. The show, Jubilee, was good.

Comfortable Accomodations

We stayed in the as yet unrenovated part of the hotel, so the room while large had some furniture that's beginning to show the effects of long use. The view from the room was right on the strip which is what I want to see in LV. Nosh was a very convenient and reasonably priced spot to grab breakfast or a late night sandwich.

My review of Ballys Las Vegas

The Bally's is located in the center of the strip. It is convenient to other casino's also to the monorail. The room was very clean and well taken care of, very adequate space, the restaurants were close by and very good. The one downfall (really 2) check-in there was a long line and they only had 2 people doing check-in it took us a half hour, also for check-out the same thing happened. It seems to me that if they had that many people in line, they would have more people to help out.

Ok for an old Hotel

We were not to happy with this Bally's hotel. The check in line was long and they had few service windows open. The room had a loose Air Condtioner/Heater vent that rattled every time it was on. It kept me awake for three nights. They charge $3 per day for use of the safe in the closet. We did not use it and they charged us anyway. When we asked for a better rate because of these problems and because we had 13 people in our party celebrating 3 birthdays and an 8 year anniversary, they refused. The entire time we were at Bally's we never heard anyone win any kind of jack pot. Everything was extremely over priced. A bottle of water was $5.

Reasonably Good

The location is great. Paris is connected from within and Bellagio is just accross the road. Jubliee, the show at Balleys is phenomenal and mesmarizing. Swimmimg pool is at an odd location and no whirl pool. There is hardly any proper lobby and that too is old fashioned. Room numbers are confusing. We were given room # 6829 signifying as if we were either on floor 6 or floor 68. We were actually on floor 18.
