Rooms
Over 2,000 non-smoking rooms and suites across four towers offer a deluxe variety of accommodations at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino. Standard rooms in the luxurious Rush Tower are a generous 439 square feet and feature iPod docking stations, 42" plasma screens, DVD players, pillow-top beds and down comforters, and bathrooms with twin decolav sinks, a lighted makeup mirror and waterfall showerheads. The Nugget's spacious Carson Tower rooms are more formally styled, with marble lined bathrooms and pillow-top beds. More classic standard rooms in the Gold Tower include pillow-top beds and 42" plasma TVs, while Gold Club Rooms on the 16th and 17th floors offer more modern styling and concierge-level amenities. Suites in the Spa Tower, most of which are two-level, come with a wet bar, living and dining areas, large bathrooms with two-person spa tubs and dramatic views. No matter the tower, most rooms offer a variety of views that include the Vegas Strip, Spring Mountains and/or the pool deck.
Features

Daredevils love the Golden Nugget's three-story waterslide for more than just the drop – the slide also plunges through the immense shark tank by way of a secure tube. Also on the third floor of The Tank, the secluded Hideout pool deck offers an adults-only scene with an infinity pool and the H20 Bar. Back inside, the 45,000 square-foot-casino draws gamers to its popular slot and video poker machines, table games, race and sports book and poker room. The Golden Nugget also offers select retail (including a jewelry shop and high-end boutique apparel), an arcade and a golf concierge. Cabanas and daybeds at both the Golden Nugget and Hideout pools are available for a fee. Free self- and valet parking is available.

Dining
As with most luxury Vegas resorts, dining options at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino range from seafood at Chart House with its 75,000 gallon tropical fish aquarium, Vic & Anthony's for steak, Red Sushi, Grotto Italian, Lillie's Asian Cuisine and The Grille. Start the day with coffee at Starbucks or breakfast at the Buffet or Carson Street Cafe. Beer aficionados appreciate the big selection of 40 different brews at the casino's International Beer Bar.

Great Place for a Wedding/Honeymoon!

The Golden Nugget was a great place to stay as we started our new life together. The Deluxe Room was very comfortable and clean. The room even had a vanity outside of the bathroom which made getting ready for the nupitals hassle free. The closet (with complimentary robes) was roomy even enough for my wedding gown and our causal attire for the trip. The view of the TANK from our room was gogerous. The Tank is the hotel swimming pool wich included a bar, gift shop, casino tables and plenty of seating. The Tank also included a great aquarium with seea life that could be cleraly viewed from our 6th floor room. Overall the room was spacious with the King Sized bed, vanity, desk and dining table for two. The eateries in the hotel were at multiple budget levels. THe location of the hotel was great. We were in the middle of Fremont Street Experience. This area included four other hotels, a covered walkway, shops, a movie thearter, bowling alley and much. much more. This area was patroled regularly by private security and police. I felt safe walking around this area all night long!!

Best Value for Downtown Las Vegas

The Golden Nugget Hotel is an upscale hotel in downtown Las Vegas. It is just out the door to the Fremont Experience and to all of the no-cost entertainments happening nightly. The room is equipped with a hair dryer and iron/board. It even offers two luxurious terry robes for afterbath. There are great places to check out including the indoor aquarium with sharks/large fishes and the world's largest gold nugget on display.

Wonderful Experience

The Golden Nugget was a beautiful hotel. The room was very spacious, larger than the average room. Along with two double beds, it contained two sitting chairs, a table and we actually went with friend so we got connecting rooms so that we had basically a huge suite. It was very well equipped with all of the amenities that one would expect from a 4 star hotel. One thing that really appealed to us was the dressing table and vanity outside the bathroom. The closet was large and the in room safes were an excellent bonus. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Las Vegas and I will highly recommend it to any friends traveling to that area.

Beautiful hotel and pool

We have stayed here every time we come to Las Vegas. When we checked in on this visit, they only had a room with two double beds left, but told us they would try and get us into a King size room in the morning, which they did. I appreciate them going out of their way for us. The new pool area with the aquarium is awsome. This hotel is just overall very friendly and conveniently located in beautiful downtown Vegas.

Beautiful hotel

I was quite shocked to see the amount of detail that had gone into the renovations of this hotel. From the time you took your first step until the time you got to your room everything was beautiful. We had just the standard room that you could get and it was very much above my expectations. The pool was the best part. Very relaxing and HUGE fish tank was awesome! I can even tell people that I swam with sharks!!!

Decent Value

This hotel casino is a decent value for the money, but not great. It is fairly close to fast food dining options that are a must for those not wishig to spend $13 per person for a weekend buffet. It is located 4 miles from the strip, but the bus system in Las Vegas offers a 24 hour pass for only $5. The drain in our shower was evidently clogged because we stood in ankle deep in water for our showers. There was not a whole lot of customer service offered for us ordinary hotel guests.

Great Location and Best Bargain

I always love staying at Fremont Street due to the atmosphere. You can still get to the strip very easily on the public bus or taxi. The Golden Nugget is a great hotel for the money. The room was nice and clean. The show Defending the Caveman was great. The staff at the Buffet were extremely pleasant.
