La Quinta Inn & Suites Las Vegas Airport N Conv

We selected this hotel because of it is pet-friendly, has free wi-fi internet, a fridge and microwave, and it is quiet. There is a fenced in park with lots of grass by the pool which was great for our dogs. This is not a fancy-decor hotel as you would find on the strip. On the other hand, we didn't have to go through a maze of shops and smoky casino to get to our room, parking was a breeze and there were no loud club music. There is also a Starbucks across the street and decently priced restaurant within walking distance. This was our first stay at a La Quinta hotel and we were not disappointed.

First- the shuttle "broke down"- which required our family to wait in a taxi cab line for about 20 minutes. The shuttle in fact did not break down- there was not enough staff to drive that evening. We got to our room- it was spacious and pretty clean- but had no TV remote. We called down to the front desk and were told "either come get it- or we can bring it to you in the morning". The next day, we called for a shuttle ride from the strip to the airport (which we were told was an included service) only to be picked up by a very rude driver who argued with us and said that we would not take us to the airport. The only reason we got to the airport was because my husband threw a fit and called the manager on duty while we were on the shuttle.

Pull out bed is really cheap. Very noise. Internet access is very slow. Overall, just average

3 star rating for the motel/inn is accurate. Based on a scale of meeting expectations that you would have for a motel/inn, I have no complaints. Seemed clean, comfortable bed, running water, free internet, all ok. Breakfast was ok the first day but got tiring after the 2nd since it was the same thing over and over. Waffle maker was good. Worst noticeable thing was the VERY thin walls and ceilings. I heard my neighbor's entire phone conversation. He was a shoe salesman.

Hotel was in a fair location and the price was fair. Staff was friendly but the phone was missing from the room, there were papers all over the room floor (flyers,etc..) so obviously nobody had been in it in a while. The bathroom fan was incredibly noisy and the bathroom door didn't shut tight. Walls are thin.. lots of noise whenever anyone entered the building.

Shuttle was wonderful--all staff interation was above expectations.

We really enjoyed the hotel. I was impressed by the phone call I received from the front desk to inquire what we thought of the room and if it was satisfactory for us. The room was clean & comfortable. We liked that it had free wireless internet, a microwave, coffee maker, refrig and a great breakfast. The breakfast was better than the typical continental breakfast. My husband enjoyed the waffles. We are not gamblers so this type of hotel is great for us. The price was right too!

I stayed here for a quick Vegas run... I flew in Saturday morning for a Yeah Yeah Yeahs concert and stayed the night for my flight the next morning. Room was very clean, very happy with the price and amenities. I didn't really stay long, but the staff was very helpful and friendly, even took a picture for me! The location is about 15-30 minutes from the strip. A little far if you're walking during the day, but close enough you don't have to take a cab. I just recommend sunblock if you walk. The morning of my flight out there was a shuttle available to the airport... They dropped me off very quickly. Again, very friendly staff. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel, especially for a conveinent airport hotel.

Was in town to see Van Morrison and CSN...missed Van due to airplane problems and CSN cancelled...no worry!....it's Vegas...saw the Fab Four and met many nice people...it was always good to see the friendly staff at the front desk...day and night!....the service that was supposed to take me to the airport..forgot me!...the staff made sure the hotel transportation got me there!.I will be back!
